NEWS: We still have more news from Toy Fair to report. Coming soon will be the SmackDown! Live entrance playset, which is similar to the Titan Tron Live playset. It will play 14 WWF Superstars' theme, including new themes for Triple H, X-pac, Jericho, and Edge. The playset is, of course, modeled after the entrance the WWF uses for their SmackDown! program. Another new Tron Ready Playset coming soon is Backstage Mayhem. The set not only features a backstage area to add yet another bit of realism to your WWF figure collecting experience, but a real flushing toilet as well! Be sure to check out our exclusive interview with Jakks on our Toy Fair 2000 Coverage page for more information about upcoming releases. As always, Toy Fair has delivered. Jakks had most of the products they plan to release this year on display. If you haven't done so already, do yourself a favor and check out Ringside Collectibles Toy Fair 2000 Coverage.

Final Results of last week's Poll:
In the largest victory in
any of our polls, Jakks' Real Scan figures completely dominated last week's
poll as favorite product shown at Toy Fair. The votes for Federation Fighters
2, Trash Talkin' Stage, Back Talkin' Crushers 2 were pretty even but came
nowhere close to the Real Scan total. Hopefully the actual Real Scan
figures will look as good as the prototypes.

MAILBAG:
[email protected] writes: Titan-Tron Live only contains the ten themes of Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kane, Undertaker, D-X, McMahons, New Age Outlaws, Gangrel/The Brood, Mankind, The Rock, and RAW. It will play the RAW theme for any new figures not included on the Titan Tron. The SmackDown! Live playset as shown in our Toy Fair Coverage, will play 14 new themes for new figures such as the Hardy Boyz, Chris Jericho, and Al Snow. New TTL figures will also be compatible with other upcoming Tron Ready accessories such as the Real Sounds Arena.
[email protected] writes: Jakks has already made the Acolytes, sort of. Jakks planned to release a Ministry of Darkness 4-pack in the third quarter of last year with The Undertaker, Viscera, and the Acolytes but canceled the 4-pack due to the Ministry's disbanding. Undertaker and Viscera would have been re-releases, so we didn't miss much. Jakks actually made prototypes and even released pictures of the unpainted prototypes to a few websites while they were promoting their third quarter line-up. The Acolytes looked fair, with parts recycled from existing figures. The 4-pack was canceled, as were the Bone-Crunching Action figures as a whole, and the BCA versions of the Acolytes probably won't ever make their way to stores. You may not be able to get BCA Acolytes, but expect Real Scan TTL versions in the not too distant future.
CLASSIC JAKKS FIGURE OF THE WEEK:
When X-Pac was first made by Jakks in Superstars Series 7, the figure was met with an amazing response. When he was repainted in his green, white, and black D-X outfit in Fully Loaded 2, the demand was just as high. X-Pac's Fully Loaded 2 figure remains as one of the most popular Jakks figures ever produced. BRING IT TO ME JAKKS!: Is there a certain figure that you would like to see produced or an accessory you would like to see made? Jakks has informed us that they would love to hear your ideas and suggestions for future products! If you always wanted that Howard Finkel & Lillian Garcia 2-Pack to complete your collection or if you think that Jakks should come out with Prince Albert's back hair playset with real hair, all that you have to do is e-mail Jakks with your suggestion. They just might use it! All product suggestions sent to: [email protected] will be forwarded directly to Jakks Pacific.
