Evolution Returns to the WWE in 2014

Evolution has officially reunited as an entire unit in the WWE with Ric Flair returning on the April 28th, 2014 WWE Monday Night RAW! Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista decided to reform the legendary group after WrestleMania XXX to deal with what they considered the unruly and wild group, The Shield. It remains to be seen as to whether or not Evolution will successfully stop The Shield in their tracks and if they do, whether or not they will remain a unit or disband. While the WWE Universe tries to unravel the mystery that is Evolution, they can re-create their sudden and surprising dominance through Mattel WWE figures easily with both current and upcoming Mattel WWE action figures!

Mattel WWE Elite 28 Triple H Wrestling Figure!

Triple H has been spearheading the 2014 Evolution reunion with his position as a member of the WWE’s authority. Serving as COO and now more often as an active wrestler, The Game has set aside his need to be the King of Kings and joined forces with Batista and Randy Orton to try and stop Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. His Mattel WWE Elite 28 wrestling figure perfectly and accurately represents his modern day look as a performer and as the WWE’s harsh and intense authority figure.

The figure will likely reflect Batista’s return to the WWE in 2014, including his Royal Rumble win and his disapproval of the WWE and its fans. Ric Flair made an appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw on April 28th, 2014 to give Evolution his well wishes, only to turn and shake hands with the Hounds of Justice, The Shield! Whether it’s a modern day version of the legendary Superstar or a classic version featuring one of his many intensely colored robes, the WWE Universe and Mattel WWE collectors alike have been clamoring for a Mattel WWE Ric Flair figure since the launch of the line! Now, for the millions and millions of The Rock’s fans, a version will be released representing the time frame of when he stepped out on his own and became one of the biggest superstars in the history of professional wrestling! The latest Mattel WWE Ringside Collectibles Exclusive is The Rock…The Brahma Bull!

Showcasing The Rock’s look from the Attitude Era, the figure is based on The Rock’s Summerslam 1998 Intercontinental Championship defense against Triple H. With trunks taken from around that time frame to best represent The Rock, the figure will embody the style and look that only Rocky could make possible.

The Rock faced off with Triple H in a grueling ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. The Intercontinental Championship, shown in this promo image with a purple strap, will be included in the Mattel WWE Brahma Bull Rock Exclusive! Wrestling figure fans are now offered this style of the Intercontinental Championship with an Elite figure for only the second time, and the only time with the purple strap.

Can Cesaro & Jack Swagger Remain the Real Americans?

Leading up to the WrestleMania 30 Tag Team Championship match, Cesaro and Jack Swagger have had their share of differences. Jack Swagger, once a main event player and powerful rookie, has taken a back seat as of late to his unsolicited partner, Cesaro. Cesaro, after a successful run with the United States Championship, has taken to using the ‘Real Americans’ tag team to his advantage and showcasing a stronger, more efficient side, gaining himself a WWE World Heavyweight Championship match at Elimination Chamber and momentum going into WrestleMania 30. Since then, both men have been at odds with their manager, Jack Swagger’s uncle, Zeb Colter playing their praises against each other. No one is sure as to why Zeb Colter would cause distrust between his two protégés, but they have managed to remain a team leading up to the Tag Team Championship opportunity. Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans have perfect versions of all three members of the ‘Real Americans’ to re-create the mistrust…or to make it dive even quicker than before.

Mattel WWE Series 37 Zeb Colter!

Zeb Colter is the mouthpiece of the ‘Real Americans’ tag team. With his shaking fists and dislike for anything he considers ‘anti-American’ he has been a loud, obnoxious presence in the WWE since coming to the aid of his nephew Jack Swagger. Recruiting Cesaro as another person he considers a ‘true Patriot,’ Colter often favors Cesaro and his outstanding ability over that of his nephew. In Mattel WWE Series 37, his spot on likeness is featured and in great detail, obvious by the likes of his dastardly mustache, combat vest and tie. You can almost expect the wrestling figure to shout ‘We the People’ in the middle of the night.

Cesaro was already doing his best to let the WWE Universe know that he considered himself more of an appreciative American than many of those who call the United States their home. Waving a flag and carrying the United States Championship as seen here in Mattel WWE Elite 23, Cesaro has since joined up with Swagger and Colter and offered a new level to the patriotism they carry. With the devastating ‘Cesaro swing,’ amazing uppercuts and brute strength, he’s one of the fastest rising WWE Superstars and clearly brings about the jealous ire of his partner, Jack Swagger.

Since opting to take a more ‘middle American’ approach to his wrestling style and demeanor, Jack Swagger has become scruffier, grumpier and more aggressive. No longer the smiling golden boy, Swagger feels, at the behest of his Uncle Zeb, that he is representative of what a true American really is. The ‘All American American’ is in Mattel WWE Elite 26 with his new look, waving a ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ flag and a black and grey wrestling singlet. While he may be jealous of his uncle taking a liking to Cesaro, Jack Swagger has raw wrestling ability of his own that is not to be overlooked, especially when in contention for the WWE Tag Team Championships. The ‘Real Americans’ could walk out triumphant at WrestleMania 30 thanks to Jack Swagger.

Mattel WWE Elite 30 Lineup Revealed!

Mattel WWE Elite Series 30 Revealed!

The Mattel WWE Elite Series 30 lineup has finally been revealed, and fans are going wild with the announcement of a mix of modern day WWE Superstars and WWE Legends! WWE Elite 30 includes:

Ryback
Batista
Lex Luger
Hawk (Legion of Doom)
Animal (Legion of Doom)
Brock Lesnar

With Ryback’s newfound ability as a tag-team specialist working hard to own the scene with the likes of Curtis Axel, Ryback has finally found a place in the WWE where he is fully comfortable. A new Mattel WWE Ryback Elite will help ease the demand of this ever-popular WWE Superstar and offer another of his extremely detailed singlets in wrestling figure form.

Since returning to the WWE, Batista will receive his first Mattel WWE Elite figure in years. Hopefully representing his new, Hollywood-style attitude, this Elite will more than likely be packed with a few accessories, and if fans are lucky, a pair of skinny jeans with ripping ability.

Lex Luger was once an unstoppable WWE Superstar, chugging off on the ‘Lex Express’ and taking the WWE Universe by storm. His American-themed outfits and patriotism made him a fan favorite during his short WWE run and wrestling figure fans have been clamoring for a Lex Luger figure since the Mattel WWE Elite and Legends lines have existed.

The Road Warriors, also known as the Legion of Doom, consist of the unstoppable Hawk and Animal. Although they had debut figures in Mattel’s WWE Legends line, they finally make a return, hopefully in the red shoulder pads that fans have been dying for since their original release. If this isn’t the case, fans would certainly be happy with blue shoulder pads or even LOD 2000 attire.

Brock Lesnar looks to end the Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania 30, but in the meantime his ring attire has changed very little since re-debuting in the WWE. With the possibility of a new headsculpt for an Elite Brock, this figure could give fans another modern day version of the Beast.

Our Favorites For the WrestleMania 30 Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal!

The first ever Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place at WrestleMania 30! Featuring 30 of the WWE’s best and brightest Superstars (three of which remain unknown), all competitors will begin in the ring until one Superstar is left standing. That Superstar will take home the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy and have incredible bragging rights. Anyone with a collection of 30 or more Mattel WWE wrestling figures can stage their own version of this incredible match-up. We have chosen six staples of the match, that also happen to be our possible odds-on favorites to win, that are must haves for anyone looking to recreate the event.

Mattel WWE Series 33 Big Show!

The easy favorite to win due to his sheer size and constant comparisons to the legendary Andre The Giant himself, the Big Show is one of the biggest Superstars to ever set foot in a WWE ring. Unless the collective WWE Superstars can find a way to power against Big Show, he can use his size and endurance to plow his way through the competition. His Mattel WWE Series 33 figure, with angry demeanor and camouflage print, can easily hand out WMD’s to your other wrestling figures for the win.

Mattel WWE Series 31 Alberto Del Rio!

Alberto Del Rio has been distracted as of late, forced to face off with Batista because of harsh words the two had for each other upon his return. However, he has since turned his attentions back towards being the best competitor he can be and set his sights on the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy. His Mattel WWE Series 31 figure has one of the most spot on likenesses for a wrestling figure of all time and perfectly represents just how driven Alberto Del Rio can be when he sets aside his arrogance.

Mattel WWE Series 38 Sheamus!

Since his return to the WWE after injury at the 2014 Royal Rumble, Sheamus has been working off great momentum despite not winning. He has found his way to avoid vicious attacks at the hands of Christian and won match after match, looking to ignore the thorns in his side and get back in the picture for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. With a win in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, he could cement the clarity of his presence in pool of Superstars after the title. His Mattel WWE Series 38 figure is the most up-to-date version of the Celtic Warrior fans could get at this point.

Mattel WWE Series 36 Christian!

With desperation and dangerousness part of Christian’s modern day strategy, he has been even more aggressive than ever before. If the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will lead him to another shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Christian will do all he can to win, trophy or not. Mattel WWE Series 42 Natalya & Series 43 Eva Marie Figures to Appear on Total Divas!

Mattel WWE Designer Bill Miekina shows designs to Summer Rae & Natalya!

On the upcoming episode of E! Network’s hit show, Total Divas, Mattel WWE Designer Bill Miekina appears to show plans, reference photos, and even some of the finished versions of Mattel WWE Diva figures! Summer Rae and Natalya both got a first hand look at their figures, with Natalya receiving both a sample piece of her own Mattel WWE figure in Series 42 and a sample piece of her uncle, Bret Hart!
