The Mattel WWE Retro line has brought incredible treasures to our collections, creating fresh looks and figures for both new and classic WWE superstars. These figures are styled in the old-school Hasbro likeness with over-the-top features. To celebrate Mattel’s latest WWE Retro Series 10 coming in stock at Ringside Collectibles, let’s look at some possible names that could appear as Retros in future lines:
Dusty Rhodes was grooving and shaking as the ‘American Dream’ in both WCW and the WWF. His yellow poka-dotted ring gear would be perfectly suited as a Mattel WWE Retro figure. Despite existing in the old school line, having a new look and new version would be a great call back to the original that was made for him!
With Bobby Lashley’s continued dominance on the WWE RAW roster and his debut as a Mattel WWE Elite figure, he would be a perfect inclusion in the WWE Retro line with his massive physique and modern day headband look. Including a ‘Hasbro-style’ action move, he would fit right in!
As the WWE Retro line expands, it’s a perfect time to begin to include the WWE’s rich roster of women superstars. Starting with the colorful, adventurous and always smiling Bayley, the WWE Retro line could feature a figure of her with some sort of ‘Bayley-to-Belly Suplex’ action that would mean she could battle in line with all the other WWE Retro figures!
After King Mabel’s wildly popular debut in the Mattel WWE Elite line, his joining the Mattel WWE Retro line would be a larger-than-life presence like never before! With a removable crown or even a bodyslam action, he would be a massive addition to the line and be a perfect legend that never got the treatment previously.
To keep the legendary styles going, the New Age Outlaws of D-Generation X fame would be a great addition of a Mattel WWE Retro tag team. Bringing their ‘Attitude Era’ looks would be a perfect way to continue throwing back old school additions to the line. This would also open the door for future retro tag teams to be included like The Nation, The Hardy Boyz, the Legion of Doom and more!
Time will tell as to what wrestling figures will appear in Mattel WWE Retro Series 11, WWE Retro Series 12 and beyond, but for now we can always wish for more of our favorites!

Soon after, The Hardy Boyz broke out on their own and became the charismatic, daredevil extremists we know and love today. With the style of a southern belle and a look that breaks hearts across the world, Lacey Evans has made an incredible impact in the WWE in a very short time. After catapulting from NXT onto the WWE RAW brand, Evans has said that she will rid the WWE Universe of ‘nasties’ as she brings honor and class to the WWE Women’s Division. In the meantime, she has showcased many incredibly colorful looks, reflective of her classy personality. The question is…which of these will we see immortalized in Mattel WWE wrestling action figure form?
Lacey’s elaborate dresses have shown off some incredible fashion sense and made it clear she is ok with ‘dressing like a lady’ before getting into the ring to tear apart an opponent. Above, she’s featured in a black and white striped outfit which is notable because it is vastly different from what most WWE Women’s Division Superstars are seen sporting.
During her time in NXT, Lacey made all the boogie-woogie-bugle-boys go crazy for her military/army style ring gear. While she sported this two piece ring gear often, it proved she was implementing patriotism into her look and ultimately her fighting style. This would make a great debut figure as it could show up in Evan’s wardrobe again and would be a throwback to her NXT career.
More recently, Evans has sported a ‘sailor’ style outfit that features white gloves and further cements her as a top-shelf performer. With blue and white coloring featuring stripes, it would be an ideal figure for her as well because of how often she has worn the outfit. Along with this, she has worn many similar outfits that can be considered fairly outside-the-box ring gear.
Perhaps one of her most notable looks was during the Mae Young Classic, where Evans sported ring gear featuring cherry designs that matched the striking makeup she tends to wear on a regular basis. With a hat accessory and Elite articulation, this could be the perfect way to show off Evans’ in ring prowess.
Only time will tell what a debut Mattel WWE Lacey Evans figure will look like, but one thing is for certain, there are plenty of looks to choose from!

With domination on his radar, Tommaso Ciampa wrecked the NXT roster and cruised on to the WWE RAW brand before being unfortunately injured. While fans wait and wish for his speedy recovery, his first Mattel WWE Elite in the main line will be a spot on likeness and perfect for winning any wrestling figure matches in the meantime. Also included in the set is Rey Mysterio which will mark a return to the mainline for the master of the 619 after a multi-year absence from WWE. Bobby Lashley gets a first-time-in-the-line level of dominance with an excellent Elite treatment, featuring his headband and pointed fingers. Also included is newcomer Ricochet, his athleticism on peak display as he continues to climb to the top. Speaking of climbing to the top, the set is rounded out by Mustafa Ali, who has proven that he belongs in the ring with many top WWE Superstars, including those who have already won world championships. The time has come to reveal some sought after Mattel WWE NXT Elite figures in Roderick Strong, Andrade and Titus O’Neil! With spruced up, detailed looks, these images show that all three current and / or former NXT Superstars will have upcoming releases that are spot on renditions of how they will look. The only question is…when?
While Roderick Strong (sometimes affectionately known as ‘Roddy’) continues to carve out a name for himself in NXT, fans of wrestling’s independent scene are already primed for his first solo Elite action figure. Featuring his blue and black entrance jacket, and blue and black ‘Strong’ trunks, he also has a spot on likeness that will be hard for collectors to pass up.
The former Andrade “Cien” Almas, now known as ‘Andrade’, is on the main WWE roster tearing up opponents and making the WWE Universe hear him loud and clear. When he debuted in NXT, he showed off an athletic skill set that has catapulted him to new heights. His time as NXT Champion is reflected here, complete with a championship accessory and white hat. He’s also sporting white ring gear with knee pads featuring a fist symbol in black.
Before coming to the main roster as a Prime Time Player and making ‘Millions of Dollars’, Titus O’Neil was an NXT standout with size, strength and personality. Carrying a whistle and bringing intense energy, the current ‘Titus Worldwide’ CEO made his name known. Here, he includes his whistle, an NXT t-shirt accessory and green and gold ‘Titus’ trunks featuring a symbol design. He has grown into a leveled-up version of his time in NXT, so this figure can still be considered a definitive Titus!
Only time will tell when these Mattel NXT wrestling figures are released. Will it be in an upcoming Elite set with alternate packaging? Is there a chance that there is a new NXT line coming? No one knows for sure, but Ringside Collectibles will be a place to look for them once they do begin to filter into our collections!
