Brock Lesnar…UFC Bound? Or Still a Mattel WWE Staple?

Rumors have been running rampant that the beastly Brock Lesnar has been secretly planning a return to the octagon with UFC. He has openly and publicly claimed he is retired from his MMA career and vowed never to return, but rumors of some sort of superfight including Brock are the talk of the mixed martial arts town. This may seem difficult when considering his WWE career, but fans continue to speculate. Since debuting in the WWE, Brock Lesnar has been considered one of the most feared men on the planet, and his sheer wrestling ability is a major part of that. Since returning to the WWE, Brock Lesnar has sported an MMA-style attire, including his sponsors and logos on his shorts. Big Show captured The Hardcore Championship three times during his original WWE tenure, making a massive impact after coming over from WCW. The Giant figure may not be the exact era, but it is very close and with an nWo shirt, it would add extra spice to those wanting to recreate a WCW invasion! If you want a more accurate style, though, you could shoot for Big Show’s Mattel WWE Pay Per View 11 figure.

The Mattel WWE Elite 27 Rob Van Dam figure will provide the ECW legend’s hardcore presence for any Hardcore Championship match. He unified the title with the Intercontinental Championship, so it may have ended with RVD, but it can go on forever with your Mattel WWE figures.

Mattel WWE Elite 27 Finally Up For Pre-Order!

Mattel WWE Elite 27 is one of the most anticipated Mattel WWE wrestling action figures sets of all time. Featuring three Flashbacks and three sought after modern day Superstars, this set is bound to be one of the most popular Mattel WWE Elite sets ever. The set features:

The Undertaker has yet to have a main line Mattel WWE Elite figure sporting his new hairdo. This will hopefully be the figure that those who love the current Phenom have been waiting for.

The Ultimate Warrior made a surprise appearance to promote his inclusion in the WWE2K14 video game, sparking rumors of the end of a long time feud with Vince McMahon and a return, in some capacity to the WWE. Warrior hopefuls have enjoyed his appearance in the game and a multitude of Mattel WWE action figures in his likeness, but some are holding out for a surprise Royal Rumble entrance or even a WWE Hall of Fame induction.

The Shield Delivers Justice in Mattel WWE Elite Form!

Finally, every member of the popular WWE stable The Shield is available in Mattel WWE Elite form. Wrestling action figure fans were able to snag Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in Elite Series 25 but had to wait to complete the trio with Roman Reigns in Elite Series 26. Now that all three are in stock, one of the hottest teams of the past decade is complete with total articulation.

Dean Ambrose, the unofficial leader of The Shield, has come into his own as the most vocal member of the group. He includes a video camera for recording viral videos and a folding chair incase the action gets too intense to handle with just fists.

Seth Rollins has put his foot forward in The Shield, becoming a Tag Team specialist and capturing the Championships with Roman Reigns. He adds balance to the group which is perfect for administering justice. He includes a breakaway table and tall ladder, just like The Shield made themselves famous with in 2012.

The quiet muscle of the group, Roman Reigns does not like to be pushed around and is beastly in his demeanor. He has perfected a version of the spear and defends The Shield’s brand of justice with brute strength. His figure includes a barricade so his devastating finisher can be re-enacted.

HULKAMANIA RETURNS! As a Mattel WWE Wrestling Figure?!

With Hulk Hogan quitting his managerial job at TNA Wrestling and testing the ‘free agent’ market, speculation is ‘running wild’ as to whether or not he will return to what many consider his home, the WWE. So far, Hulk has teased returning to the company, though in what capacity remains to be seen. After numerous back surgeries and aging body parts it’s impossible to tell if Hulk Hogan could wrestle another match, but wrestling figure fans like to keep their interests elsewhere. If Hogan were to rejoin WWE, the question of his Mattel WWE action figure would become not an if but a when. Here are some of his most famous looks we would like to see in Mattel WWE form:

At Hulkamania’s highest peak, Hogan appeared at times in the above attire, pointing to his fans, preaching for them to eat their vitamins and say their prayers. The classic yellow and red look with a removable Hulk Hogan shirt would be unprecedented as the shirt has never been produced on a classic WWE action figure.

Bash At The Beach 1996 Hulk Hogan!

It was the day the Hulkamaniacs cried. WCW Bash At The Beach 1996 saw Hulk Hogan shock the world and turn on those he claimed to love the most, the people. Taking mere moments to become ‘the third man,’ this would be the last time Hogan would don the red and yellow for years and years to come.

‘Hollywood’ Hulk Hogan ran the nWo and did his best to run WCW into the ground, feuding with the likes of Bill Goldberg, his arch nemesis ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper and many more. nWo Hogan would have several wild black and white attires that proved he was nWo for life, right up to his return to a WWE ring and classic WrestleMania match with The Rock.

Since 2002, Hulk Hogan has been proving that Hulk STILL rules, as he has donned the red and yellow almost always ever since. This would be a ‘modern’ day Hulk Hogan, proving he can still hop in the ring with the best of them and proving that Hulkamaniacs worldwide will always love, support and cherish his presence.

Jack Swagger…a REAL All American American!

Jack Swagger took a leave of absence from the WWE in late 2012, only to re-emerge in 2013 more American than ever. He had always touted being an All American American, but with his ‘uncle’ Zeb Colter, suddenly his ideals were different. He was more American than ever, no longer sporting a golden boy smile but a rough, scruffy look and a huskier base than ever. It was no surprise that his new, subtle changes would be something fans of Mattel WWE figures sought to update their collections with. After a few hiccups and plenty of time, finally Jack Swagger arrived in Mattel WWE Elite 26, simply telling the rest of the world “Don’t Tread On Me!”

Luckily, he will be able to accompany either of your Swagger figures as he is appearing in an upcoming Mattel WWE WrestleMania Heritage set!

WrestleMania XXX Elite Mattel WWE Set…Screwjob Style!

Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart…once bitter enemies, they have a newfound friendship that the WWE Universe adores and is proud of. The infamous Montreal Screwjob saw Shawn Michaels working with Vince McMahon to make Bret Hart look silly in his hometown of Montreal, Canada. This moment in wrestling history is famous for being the catalyst to the Attitude Era and causing a grudge that lasted for years and years. Now, Shawn and Bret have buried the hatchet, but the memory of the Montreal Screwjob remains in the minds of many.
