Mattel WWE Elite 33 Has Two Words For Ya!
The Mattel WWE Elite 33 Series has rising Superstars, veterans and a few surprise legends that have already begun to have fans making a little noise!
Mattel WWE Elite 33 includes:
- Batista (Bluetista)
- Cesaro
- X-Pac
- Junkyard Dog
- Seth Rollins
- Roman Reigns
The long awaited release of the legendary Junkyard Dog surprised fans and collectors alike. With a spot on, canine likeness, Junkyard Dog looks as good as the days he brought some extra brutality to the wrestling world. Including a chain and star spangled tights, he’s not to be missed for old school WWE fans.
Cesaro has had a break out year, proving his giant status at WrestleMania XXX when winning the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. The statue is included with the Mattel WWE Elite 33 Cesaro, breakable for those who like to rough house and able to stand upright for those who like to display their accolades.
Before his days of backstabbing and turning on his loyal friends, Seth Rollins was one of the most trusted members of The Shield. Earning the Tag Team Championship with his partner Roman Reigns, it seemed as though the power of the group would never stop, and that’s clear with his Mattel WWE Elite 33 figure.
Perhaps most scorned by the betrayal of Seth Rollins is Roman Reigns, who held the WWE Tag Team Championship with is partner in real life and in Mattel WWE Elite 33. With a removable vest, his powerful physique can be showcased and he can prepare for the intense delivery of one of his patented spears.
The Mattel WWE Elite 33 Batista has a special nickname bestowed on both the figure and its real life counterpart. ‘Bluetista’ makes his Mattel WWE debut, complete with cool-as-can-be vest, hat and sunglasses. Fans may not like Batista, but he simply doesn’t care what they think and that’s proven with the latest Bluetista figure.
One of the most crucial and controversial members of D-Generation X, X-Pac had a successful run as European Champion and Tag Team Champion when returning to the WWE at the height of the Attitude Era. The glue that kept Triple H and the New Age Outlaws together, he often faced off with opponents twice his size and used his athletic ability to triumph. Despite drawing ire from fans for turning on his best friend Kane, the WWE Universe has learned to look upon X-Pac fondly with time and are excited for his Mattel WWE Elite 33 release!

Mattel WWE Elite 30 Now Available For Pre-Order!
The Mattel WWE Elite 30 wrestling action figures are now available for pre-order! With a great mix of modern day Superstars and WWE Legends, fans are already clamoring for this Elite sets’ release!
Mattel WWE Elite 30 includes:
- Lex Luger
- Brock Lesnar
- Ryback
- Animal (Legion of Doom)
- Hawk (Legion of Doom)
- Batista
With Lex Luger’s first Mattel WWE figure treatment ever, fans are to be treated to a representation of the Lex Express himself during his pique WWE days just before jumping ship to WCW. Likely red, white and blue American style attire will be what Lex dons for his first Mattel release and a physique like no other, full of unmatched muscle.
Brock Lesnar has not received an updated Mattel WWE Elite since Series 19, so fans of the Next Big Thing will likely be thrilled to see an updated version of the man who single-handedly destroyed Undertaker’s WrestleMania reputation. Expect a bigger, badder and angrier version of the life-time Paul Heyman guy.
Ryback has re-invented himself as a tag team specialist but his brute strength and size have remained the same as he jumps in to another Mattel WWE Elite set. With a selection of singlets as massive as his arms, Mattel should have no problem delivering a detailed, exciting version of the Big Guy to the Feed Me Morons.
The Legion of Doom includes Hawk and Animal and were represented in the Mattel WWE Legends 1 Series with old school attires. Leaving a bit to be desired for fans in both look and body shape, Hawk and Animal make their return in Mattel WWE Elite 30, likely in the red and black Road Warrior gear they are most well known for. With rumors of a new body shape for Animal, Hawk can’t be far behind and wrestling figure collectors will receive the versions of this legendary tag team that they’ve been waiting for.
Batista made his return to the WWE just in time for the Royal Rumble. Despite negative fan reaction and leaving the WWE once again, he has forced himself to stay overwhelmingly positive and take the feedback of the haters with a grain of salt. All hate aside, wrestling figure fans are looking for an updated, modern day version of the Animal who makes his first appearance in an Elite set since his original departure.

Evolution is a Mystery…Solved by Mattel WWE Figures!
Evolution has officially reunited as an entire unit in the WWE with Ric Flair returning on the April 28th, 2014 WWE Monday Night RAW! Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista decided to reform the legendary group after WrestleMania XXX to deal with what they considered the unruly and wild group, The Shield. It remains to be seen as to whether or not Evolution will successfully stop The Shield in their tracks and if they do, whether or not they will remain a unit or disband. While the WWE Universe tries to unravel the mystery that is Evolution, they can re-create their sudden and surprising dominance through Mattel WWE figures easily with both current and upcoming Mattel WWE action figures!
Triple H has been spearheading the 2014 Evolution reunion with his position as a member of the WWE’s authority. Serving as COO and now more often as an active wrestler, The Game has set aside his need to be the King of Kings and joined forces with Batista and Randy Orton to try and stop Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. His Mattel WWE Elite 28 wrestling figure perfectly and accurately represents his modern day look as a performer and as the WWE’s harsh and intense authority figure.
Evolution’s youngest member and arguably its most successful over the past decade, Randy Orton comes off his WWE World Heavyweight Championship loss only to gain more momentum as his old group reunites. In Mattel WWE Series 37, wrestling figure fans get a WrestleMania-ready version of Randy Orton, representative of his dominant time leading up to WrestleMania 25.
The recently announced Mattel WWE Elite Series 30 wrestling action figures features many Legends that have the WWE Universe excited, but it will also feature the first Elite version of Batista since WWE Elite Series 6. The figure will likely reflect Batista’s return to the WWE in 2014, including his Royal Rumble win and his disapproval of the WWE and its fans. If those very same fans who loath Batista are lucky, he may even have some indicator representing him as a member of Evolution in his latest Elite.
Ric Flair made an appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw on April 28th, 2014 to give Evolution his well wishes, only to turn and shake hands with the Hounds of Justice, The Shield! Whether it’s a modern day version of the legendary Superstar or a classic version featuring one of his many intensely colored robes, the WWE Universe and Mattel WWE collectors alike have been clamoring for a Mattel WWE Ric Flair figure since the launch of the line! With another appearance on WWE television, they can only hope that an actual figure is now even closer to a reality.
If any Mattel WWE figure collectors or fans in the WWE Universe are simply unimpressed by Evolution’s display of power, they can stand behind The Shield with many, many Mattel WWE wrestling figures! Including Mattel WWE Elite versions of Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, fans can easily enter their wrestling figure matches from outside the arena with plenty of options.

Mattel WWE Elite 30 Lineup Revealed!
The Mattel WWE Elite Series 30 lineup has finally been revealed, and fans are going wild with the announcement of a mix of modern day WWE Superstars and WWE Legends! WWE Elite 30 includes:
- Ryback
- Batista
- Lex Luger
- Hawk (Legion of Doom)
- Animal (Legion of Doom)
- Brock Lesnar
With Ryback’s newfound ability as a tag-team specialist working hard to own the scene with the likes of Curtis Axel, Ryback has finally found a place in the WWE where he is fully comfortable. A new Mattel WWE Ryback Elite will help ease the demand of this ever-popular WWE Superstar and offer another of his extremely detailed singlets in wrestling figure form.
Since returning to the WWE, Batista will receive his first Mattel WWE Elite figure in years. Hopefully representing his new, Hollywood-style attitude, this Elite will more than likely be packed with a few accessories, and if fans are lucky, a pair of skinny jeans with ripping ability.
Lex Luger was once an unstoppable WWE Superstar, chugging off on the ‘Lex Express’ and taking the WWE Universe by storm. His American-themed outfits and patriotism made him a fan favorite during his short WWE run and wrestling figure fans have been clamoring for a Lex Luger figure since the Mattel WWE Elite and Legends lines have existed.
The Road Warriors, also known as the Legion of Doom, consist of the unstoppable Hawk and Animal. Although they had debut figures in Mattel’s WWE Legends line, they finally make a return, hopefully in the red shoulder pads that fans have been dying for since their original release. If this isn’t the case, fans would certainly be happy with blue shoulder pads or even LOD 2000 attire.
Brock Lesnar looks to end the Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania 30, but in the meantime his ring attire has changed very little since re-debuting in the WWE. With the possibility of a new headsculpt for an Elite Brock, this figure could give fans another modern day version of the Beast.

Is Batista Getting the Right Reaction From the WWE Universe?
Batista returned to the WWE just in time to participate in the 2014 Royal Rumble. The WWE Universe seemed underwhelmed by his return as he set his sights on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and looked to send a message to the rest of the WWE locker room by taking out Alberto Del Rio. Some were very excited, but many felt it wasn’t the explosive return they were looking for. Regardless, Batista made it clear he was in the WWE to stay for the time being.
Before leaving the WWE, Batista had a storied career, competing at WrestleMania multiple times and becoming WWE Champion. The Mattel WWE Series 37 version of Batista celebrates WrestleMania heritage and calls back to a simpler time when Batista didn’t sport many tattoos, had just given up being a deacon and followed behind his longer standing companions in Evolution. Here is an appearance from one of his first WrestleManias as ‘The Animal’ complete with trunks stating the like and black strapped boots.
Batista wore a very cool, skin tight white and red track jacket, grey pants and sunglasses upon his WWE return in 2014. A Mattel WWE figure in plain clothes is mostly not in the cards according to the Mattel WWE Design Team, however they may consider the possibility as the return outfits of many wrestlers are usual memorable to the WWE Universe. In addition, Batista destroyed Alberto Del Rio when wearing the same outfit so fans will most likely never forget it.
Just in time for WrestleMania XXX, Batista returned to the Mattel WWE line in a Battle Pack with Brock Lesnar as a ‘fantasy match-up.’ With accurate tattoos and a heavy beard, The Animal faces off with The Beast in a match that the WWE Universe anticipates at some point in the career of both staple wrestlers. This is perfect timing as it is in line with the actual return of Batista to the WWE so fans will have The Animal available.
No doubt eventually slated for release, a Mattel WWE version of Batista winning the 2014 Royal Rumble is likely to be a desire of wrestling figure fans who both like and dislike Batista. His red ring shoes, black trunks and new physique are enough to get wrestling figure fans talking, but the WWE Universe as a whole did not react well to his Royal Rumble win. The question remains, what does the WWE Universe want from The Animal? Are they looking for a hero to change the landscape of the WWE, or have they find another enemy for the heroes they are hoping to have more of an impact?

Batista Returns To Enter The 2014 Royal Rumble!
Dave Batista showed up on WWE Monday Night RAW, returning to the WWE and ready to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Animal was ring ready, putting his attacking skills to work on Alberto Del Rio, delivering the first Batista-Bomb in a WWE ring in nearly 4 years! He also confronted Randy Orton and told him his sights were set on the Viper directly.
After making his grand return, the WWE Universe went wild and with no surprise, Batista’s current Mattel WWE offerings became even more popular.
First up, a classic style Batista in Mattel WWE Series 37. This figure lacks his current tattoos, making him more accurate to the WrestleMania timeframe he is portraying. With an itty bitty chin hair for intimidation factor and strapped boots, this is the best old school offering for the Animal.
Included in a Mattel WWE Battle Pack celebrating WrestleMania XXX, this Batista figure is a modern day version of The Animal. It has silver and black boots and all of his current, updated tattoos based on the last time he was scanned by Mattel. His beard is a bit different than how he appeared on RAW, but it’s very close to how he looked before returning. The Battle Pack also included The Beast Brock Lesnar, pitting The Animal and The Beast against each other for the first time.
Batista is the easy favorite to win the 2014 Royal Rumble, but he has his work cut out for him as 29 other entrants will no doubt want to main event WrestleMania as well. Good luck, Animal! Walk alone…like you always have.

Mattel WWE Series 37 Makes Its Way to Pre-Order!
WrestleMania is rich with wrestling history, heritage and stories. Mattel commemorates WrestleMania with the WrestleMania Heritage series, currently showcased in Mattel WWE Series 37. This set has hot up-and-comers, classic stars and even a colorful manager that have all made impactful appearances at the WWE’s biggest show, WrestleMania. The set includes:
- Randy Orton
- Roman Reigns
- Mr. Perfect
- Batista
- Zeb Colter
- Ryback
Ryback has been on a bit of a slump as of late, and he even took a loss to Mark Henry at WrestleMania, but everyone remembers his marching power over the World’s Strongest Man and the sound it made when he went down. He’s wearing the same outfit from WrestleMania 29 in Mattel WWE Series 37.
Zeb Colter appeared in 2012 claiming to be the uncle of Jack Swagger and speaking with the attitude of a man fit for a tea party. At WrestleMania 29 he spoke of his disappointment in the values of every American except himself and The All American American. He finally gets his first Mattel WWE figure in Series 37.
Randy Orton has been a staple at many WrestleManias, taking on John Cena, CM Punk and even Triple H among others. He may not have had his career topping moments at the big event but to leave his name out of the WrestleMania conversation is nearly impossible to do. He looks just like the Apex Predator in Mattel WWE Series 37, calculated and cocky.

The Animal Returns? Batista Back in Mattel WWE Form?
The wrestling rumor mill is always busy this time a year as the WWE Royal Rumble is only about a month from Christmas and it’s always filled with ideas and thoughts as to who would surprise the WWE Universe and show up for a shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Recently, ‘The Animal’ Batista has been rumored to be making a return to the WWE after an almost 4 year absence. Here are two of his most popular Mattel WWE figures and another which could hint towards his return:
Batista was a big part of the Mattel WWE Series launch, as seen here in his Series 1 wrestling action figure. With tattoos accurate to the time and some bright, classy red trunks, Batista was showcased as one of the star members of the WWE roster.
In Elite 6, Batista came back with a bad attitude and more tattoos. Wearing too-cool-for-school sunglasses, Batista’s final Elite figure before leaving the WWE was rude, crude, and exclaimed that basketballs don’t hold grudges. This has been Batista’s most sought after Mattel WWE action figure.
To commemorate WrestleMania XXX, Mattel released this Batista vs. Brock Lesnar ‘Fantasy Matchup’ Battle Pack showcasing a possible fight between The Animal and The Beast. Though Brock sports a classic look, Batista appears as though he never left and is ready to step back into the ring. The timing may be coincidental, but it seems as though Batista’s return to the WWE is imminent!

Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Battle Packs! Powerful Fantasy Match-ups!
WrestleMania XXX is shaping up to be one of the grandest WrestleManias of all. It’s certainly a landmark number, so it’s no surprise both WWE and Mattel are going all out to celebrate. Their WrestleMania XXX Battle Packs set includes two fantasy match-ups, both with the potential for insane brawls:
Sheamus smiles away as Ultimate Warrior is not so amused by their potential match-up. Sheamus has the youth and Royal Rumble win to brag about, but Ultimate Warrior backs up his talents with successful World Championship and Intercontinental Championship defenses. Are you old school, or new school?
Insanely enough, Brock Lesnar and Batista never crossed paths during their initial WWE runs. Mattel poses the ‘what if’ question with a classic style Brock Lesnar and a return style Batista! If Batista were to return to the WWE, it’s no doubt the WWE Universe would want to see The Animal take on The Beast and prove once and for all who is the most monstrous.
