You saw that correctly…out of nowhere, the Mattel WWE Battle Packs 42 wrestling figures are now available for pre-order! Battle Packs 42 includes:
The first ever Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal will take place at WrestleMania 30! Featuring 30 of the WWE’s best and brightest Superstars (three of which remain unknown), all competitors will begin in the ring until one Superstar is left standing. That Superstar will take home the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy and have incredible bragging rights. Anyone with a collection of 30 or more Mattel WWE wrestling figures can stage their own version of this incredible match-up. We have chosen six staples of the match, that also happen to be our possible odds-on favorites to win, that are must haves for anyone looking to recreate the event.
The easy favorite to win due to his sheer size and constant comparisons to the legendary Andre The Giant himself, the Big Show is one of the biggest Superstars to ever set foot in a WWE ring. Unless the collective WWE Superstars can find a way to power against Big Show, he can use his size and endurance to plow his way through the competition. His Mattel WWE Series 33 figure, with angry demeanor and camouflage print, can easily hand out WMD’s to your other wrestling figures for the win.
Alberto Del Rio has been distracted as of late, forced to face off with Batista because of harsh words the two had for each other upon his return. However, he has since turned his attentions back towards being the best competitor he can be and set his sights on the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy. His Mattel WWE Series 31 figure has one of the most spot on likenesses for a wrestling figure of all time and perfectly represents just how driven Alberto Del Rio can be when he sets aside his arrogance.
Since his return to the WWE after injury at the 2014 Royal Rumble, Sheamus has been working off great momentum despite not winning. He has found his way to avoid vicious attacks at the hands of Christian and won match after match, looking to ignore the thorns in his side and get back in the picture for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. With a win in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, he could cement the clarity of his presence in pool of Superstars after the title. His Mattel WWE Series 38 figure is the most up-to-date version of the Celtic Warrior fans could get at this point.
With desperation and dangerousness part of Christian’s modern day strategy, he has been even more aggressive than ever before. If the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal will lead him to another shot at the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Christian will do all he can to win, trophy or not. Using power, agility and a bit of sneaky avoidance, Christian could be the last man standing. Christian’s Mattel WWE Series 36 figure is doused in a lucky green and determined to gain one more match.
The Mattel WWE Series 38 Kofi Kingston wears newly designed, long tights in green and black, showcasing Kofi’s new wild attire choice. With this refreshing design and optimistic outlook, Kofi is better than ever and ready to make himself a household name once and for all. If Kofi manages to snag the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy, it can no longer be denied that he is ready to be matched up with WWE’s top Superstars.
Rey Mysterio has oft been considered an underdog due to his size, but never his wrestling ability. With a larger than life persona, Mysterio always has a chance to be the overall favorite in any multi-man match. He will do his best to prove that his stature in the eyes of the other WWE Superstars isn’t based upon height, but on actions and performance. He would prove his iconic status with a win of the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal trophy, going down in history as a giant in his own right. In Mattel WWE Series 34, Rey’s latest colorful outfit provides a massive question mark in the middle, but there is no question as to the possibility of his winning at WrestleMania 30.

Since returning to the WWE, both Sheamus and Christian have not been able to escape each other’s sights. Week after week, they both get under one another’s skin with Sheamus keeping Christian from reaching new heights in the WWE and Christian taking out his frustrations with unnecessary roughness and ruthless aggression on Sheamus. A classic feud has thus been born, much more meaningful and entertaining than the last time the two Superstars met. With plenty to offer from Mattel for WWE action figures of both Captain Charisma and the Celtic Warrior, you can either bring their feud to an end or keep it going forever with endless possibilities.
Perhaps Christian would do better with sensibilities closer to his old style, as featured in Mattel WWE Elite 20. The ‘old school’ Christian Flashback comes with Elite articulation and an aggressive style that was coupled with a sense of humor unlike any other. With removable sunglasses, long hair, and posing for the benefit of those with flash photography, Christian’s sillier days may have posed more of a speedy challenge for Sheamus as opposed to his current heavy, aggressive style. Most likely, Christian feels he is more successful taking his challenges more seriously.
The Mattel WWE Elite 25 Sheamus is perfect for any wrestling figure fans or members of the WWE Universe looking to end the feud with Christian with a swift, well placed Brogue Kick. In the ring Christian may come back despite being knocked down time and time again, but it may be more difficult for him when faced with such a well made wrestling figure. Complete with removable shirt and Celtic cross necklace, this Sheamus wrestling figure embodies what it means to be behind the man that loves to fight.
The latest Mattel WWE Christian in Series 39 shows off his new smug, aggressive behavior with a new hairstyle and an over-confident smile. With purple tights, Christian has changed colors as often as a chameleon over the years, but still remained the same skilled animal in the wild of the WWE underneath. This figure will represent his recent ruthlessness and relentless attacks on Sheamus and anything else standing between he and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
The Mattel WWE Series 38 Sheamus figure includes a confident smirk and wears newly designed attire, the same style he has been wearing since his return to the WWE ring. This accurately depicts Sheamus (aside from the happy smile) during his current struggles with Christian and his constant need to take out his frustrations. Sheamus is powerful and has so far, always managed to prevail and this figure makes it clear he shows no signs of stopping.
Whether you want Sheamus to end Christian’s obnoxious reign or terror or Christian to put Sheamus down for the count once and for all, the Ringside Collectibles Exclusive Jakks 20 Piece Accessory Pack gives you all the necessary tools to have a memorable, hardcore fight. Reminiscent of the matches Sheamus and Christian have been having, the inclusion of a table cart, steel steps, traffic cones and kendo sticks will offer additional combat options.

Also on display were Mattel WWE Battle Packs, including Battle Packs Series 26 with The Shield (Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins), Nikki Bella and Brie Bella (The Bella Twins), and Curtis Axel facing off with The Game, Triple H.
Surprising fans everywhere, however, was the as-yet unseen Mattel WWE Battle Packs 27 including Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton, The Big Show fighting Mark Henry and the now fading Tag Team, Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and ‘Sweet T’ aka Tensai.) Tensai’s purple hat and smiling, happy demeanor has been an exciting treat for Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans as they enjoy an immortalized version of a happy-go-lucky Tensai who is transitioning to a commentary role for the WWE.
Mattel’s WWE display was rounded off with an incredible centerpiece in the Ringside Collectibles Exclusive ECW CM Punk. The ECW CM Punk includes an entirely new head sculpt, an ECW microphone accessory, ECW Championship accessory and X-Ray style CM Punk t-shirt accessory. The Elimination Chamber 2014 is fast approaching and the WWE Universe is speculating as to which WWE Superstar is going to leave the event with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The overwhelmingly dangerous structure was first introduced by Eric Bischoff in 2002 and has been a major WWE spectacle ever since. With pods releasing a new Superstar every few minutes, anything can happen with no disqualification and tons upon tons of cold, hard steel trapping the world’s best wrestlers with no way out other than winning.
The participants include John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton (the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion), Christian, Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro (now known simply as ‘Cesaro.’) A combining crop of veteran WWE Superstars and young, hungry competitors make it possible for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 match to be incredible. Each competitor featured is a definite Mattel WWE staple, and any wrestling figure fan with the Mattel WWE Elimination Chamber Playset would be able to re-enact the action of the event.
Daniel Bryan has been chasing Randy Orton ever since he cashed in his Money in the Bank Briefcase on the American Dragon at Summerslam 2013. After multiple distractions and opposition from The Authority, Daniel Bryan will finally get his chance to face off with Randy Orton again, like in Mattel WWE Battle Packs 27. However, Randy Orton knows the target is easily on his back, so he will have to be extra aggressive during his Elimination Chamber 2014 appearance. This Mattel WWE Battle Pack includes updated looks for both The Apex Predator and the Dazzler, along with the Money in the Bank Briefcase that has proved to be the catalyst for Daniel Bryan’s struggles.
Sheamus is right back in the picture after suffering an injury and disappearing from WWE television for almost 5 months. He has made it clear he is choosing no sides and looks to enter the 2014 Elimination Chamber with power and leave the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. His participation in the event will not surprise many in the WWE Universe and while he has been vocal about his intentions to regain the top spot in the WWE, he has yet to prove himself since returning. His Mattel WWE Series 38 wrestling figure showcases his new gold and silver wrestling attire.
Christian has lost most of his matches since qualifying to gain entry into the 2014 Elimination Chamber, so he is working off weak momentum and is now only participating in his second match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his WWE career. However, he has been faced with impossible odds before and after proving he will not take sides with any member of the WWE locker room, Christian has the ability to be the surprise winner. In Mattel WWE Series 39, a confident and happier head sculpt on Christian reflects his current mentality as he gives his all because he may not have many more chances to do so.
John Cena can be considered an easy favorite to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber. Having participated in the match numerous times before, he can also benefit from a weakened Randy Orton at the hands of other competitors. John Cena knows how to use all situations to his advantage. He is a Mattel WWE necessity, appearing here in Mattel WWE Series 39 with updated attire. Many of Cena’s fans in the Cenation will fully and completely expect him to win and face of with Batista at WrestleMania XXX, as long as he can survive the Elimination Chamber with no outside interference.
Antonio Cesaro received his first Mattel WWE figure in WWE Series 27, complete with painted chest hair and painted leg wraps. He will now receive his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at the 2014 Elimination Chamber and will have to fend off five other WWE Superstars to prove victorious. He is not a veteran in the WWE, but proves with his brute strength and incredible move set that he is a force to be reckoned with. He is certainly the dark horse participant in the match up and will be a contender for years to come.
The Elimination Chamber has the ability to offer glory to anyone walking out of it victorious and horrible defeat to anyone losing not only their match, but their pride and adding an additional possibility of serious injury. The Mattel WWE Elimination Chamber Playset has the ability to offer a re-enactment of all those emotions for any Mattel WWE wrestling figure collector. With the inclusion of these six participants, the stakes can be raised and the show can be unforgettable.

The Mattel WWE Series 39 includes plenty of veterans, debut wrestlers and WWE staples for a wide variety of offerings that any wrestling figure fan can get behind. The Series includes:
Rob Van Dam’s first Mattel WWE Series figure comes in a blue and white singlet, complete with flaming skulls. It’s RVD’s first time as part of the Mattel WWE basic line and most certainly won’t be his last, especially if he returns to the WWE anytime soon.
John Cena is a Mattel WWE fixture and it’s no surprise he is in Mattel WWE Series 39, updated with current attire including tan shorts and big smile. For any wrestling fan who hasn’t picked up a Mattel WWE John Cena yet, here is another chance.
Hardened veteran Christian returns to the WWE just in time for the release of his Series 39 figure, happier and with more accurate hair as he gets older and wiser. When facing off with any WWE Superstar, be it a new face or an old enemy, you can bet he will draw on the power of the peeps.
Bray Wyatt’s first ever Mattel WWE wrestling figure comes looking just like the Wyatt Family leader. With an accurate headsculpt and black wrestling attire with white pants, the Wyatt Family can follow the buzzards to whatever conflict they see fit next.
The self proclaimed ‘one man band’ and ironically, the leader of the 3 Man Band finally gets the rock star treatment in Mattel WWE form he has been looking for. In Mattel WWE Series 39 Heath Slater sports a new, accurate headsculpt and rock and roll style ring pants.
Justin Gabriel, who is not usually seen on WWE RAW or WWE Smackdown but continues to wow on WWE Main Event and at WWE live events, finally gets a new, accurate Mattel WWE figure treatment in Series 37. With updated attire and an accurate, sought after hairstyle, this version of Justin Gabriel will be in demand for die hard fans.

WWE Superstar Christian has been plagued with injuries since his World Heavyweight Championship and Intercontinental Championship runs in the WWE, injuring his shoulder and most recently receiving a concussion at the hands of Randy Orton and a vicious attack by The Shield. Since being absent, however, he has welcomed the birth of a child and taken newfound inspiration from this into his quest for one more match. Time will tell as to what kind of impact his return to the WWE roster will make, but the WWE Universe is eager to find out as he makes his way to Smackdown, some arguably even more eager than they were awaiting the return of Batista.
The most recent and insanely accurate Christian featured in Mattel WWE Series 36 has a spot on headsculpt, scruff and blonde hair just like the real Captain Charisma. With green and black ring pants, his outfit pops with color and he’s the perfect basic Mattel WWE figure for those looking to add the Captain to their collection who already haven’t. This will be the figure wrestling figure fans worldwide use to re-enact Christian’s return.
Mattel’s now defunct WWE Rumblers set included miniature versions of favorite WWE Superstars and Legends, and Christian is lucky enough to count on both sides of that description. Here, he is featured in modern day attire with Sheamus, teaching the red-headed Irish beast a lesson in respect and learning to earn your place in the WWE and working hard for it. If fans remember his feud with Sheamus, Christian did this by complaining and sneaking his way around defeats to the big brawler. Fans can fondly remember the comedy of Christian’s antics that were a thorn in the side of Sheamus with this Rumblers set.
Mattel WWE Elite 20 saw one of the first Attitude Era flashbacks with this old school style Christian, complete with mesh shirt, yellow ring pants and black boots. This Christian also included sunglasses (a solid yellow and clear yellow variant) that both Edge and Christian made famous during the Attitude Era. Christian is a pioneer of the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match that is now a staple of WWE programming and along with his tag team partner Edge, redefined the ladder match and brought the prestige of the WWE Tag Team Championships to a new level. This figure represents his pique as a 9 time tag team champion and captures one of the true innovators of the duck face. With Christian’s return imminent, his quest for one more match will more than likely be captured. Now all he has to do is capture the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

The WWE Royal Rumble is always a massive event and the inclusion of 30 WWE Superstars always leaves room for entrants either returning to the WWE or showing up for one final shot at gaining WWE glory and main eventing WrestleMania. The 2014 Royal Rumble has offered very few hints as to what possible Superstars from wrestling past could show up, but the possibility of inactive WWE Superstars returning at the event is higher than usual. Here are four WWE Superstars in Mattel WWE form ready to make a big splash and come back.
WWE Superstar Sheamus has been inactive since the fall, out with an injury and missing out on the entire authority resistance, WWE World Heavyweight Championship unification and more changes to the landscape of the WWE Universe. Sheamus’ red hair is on fire in this Mattel WWE Elite 25 figure, complete with removable silver chain, Celtic Cross shirt, and silver knee pads, boots and trunks. Sheamus could easily show up at the 2014 Royal Rumble and go on to main event WrestleMania. He is the most likely candidate as he has been absent for the longest amount of time.
Chris Jericho has been absent for a long time, but his presence is still felt and he is constantly asked in his life on the road with his band Fozzy about a potential WWE return. Since he surprised everyone at the 2013 Royal Rumble (which this Mattel WWE Series 38 figure is based on the time directly after), it would come as another shock to the WWE Universe for him to do the same thing two years in a row. He is another candidate to face the WWE World Heavyweight Champion due to his experience both at WrestleMania, and making Royal Rumble returns.
Captain Charisma has been plagued with bad luck and injuries since finally becoming a World Champion in 2011. His latest injury was a recurrent concussion, causing all sorts of terrible symptoms and worrying the WWE doctors as to his safety. He showed up in the WWE at the Slammy Awards, letting the WWE Universe know he had new inspiration as a proud father. He could easily take the inspiration to survive in the Royal Rumble and go on to by the WWE World Heavyweight Champion and cementing his place in WWE history forever. His latest Mattel WWE Series 36 figure includes green tights and has a determined, angry headsculpt reminiscent of his World Heavyweight Championship run.
Any WWE wrestling fan watching from the years of 1998-2002 remember the Attitude Era. One of the most popular aspects of the Attitude Era was the Hardcore Championship and its’ ’24/7 rule!’ Instated during the height of the championship’s popularity, the winner had to defend the title 24 hours a day and seven days a week from any oncoming challengers! Here are the Mattel WWE figures you need to have your own WWE Hardcore Championship wrestling figure circuit:
Kane held the Hardcore Championship multiple times, so his Ringside Collectibles Exclusive includes the Hardcore Championship. The belt will get your hardcore matches started.
The Road Dogg defeated Big Boss Man during a very dark time to become Hardcore Champion. Although he didn’t hold the title for long, it cemented his place in hardcore action by proving he could beat a former world title contender if the stakes were right.
Christian knew that the Hardcore Championship totally reeked of awesomeness so he snuck around and weaseled his way into multiple wins of the battered gold. Even defeating Molly Holly at WrestleMania, he took heavy advantage of the 24/7 rule.
Big Show captured The Hardcore Championship three times during his original WWE tenure, making a massive impact after coming over from WCW. The Giant figure may not be the exact era, but it is very close and with an nWo shirt, it would add extra spice to those wanting to recreate a WCW invasion! If you want a more accurate style, though, you could shoot for Big Show’s Mattel WWE Pay Per View 11 figure.
