A Mattel WWE Figure for Hall Of Famer Lita?

Lita, the high flying, trend setting WWE Diva and Superstar who changed the landscape of women’s wrestling with the WWE, has recently been announced as a WWE Hall of Fame 2014 inductee. Fans haven’t forgotten Lita and remember her for her time performing with Lucha Libre style during the Attitude Era, controversial relationships with the Hardy Boyz and Edge, and reigns with the WWE Women’s Championship. She has cemented her place in wrestling history as one of the most memorable female performers of all time. It is likely that she could possibly be in line for a Mattel WWE wrestling figure release now with her Hall of Fame induction. Time will tell, but some wrestling figure fans are already speculating on possible outfits.

Mattel WWE Debut Lita Wrestling Figure!

Many wrestling fans are unfamiliar with Lita’s WWE debut as it seemed she was always a member of the Hardyz, but Lita actually debuted with Lucha Libre star Essa Rios in a shiny red wrestling top and pants. Her first chances to show off her luchadore style came during this time, wowing fans with amazing high flying maneuvers and incredible speed. A Mattel WWE debut figure of Lita would seem unlikely, but many fans during the Attitude Era have memories of her first appearance and the immediate impact she had on women’s wrestling, showing that anyone could perform in the ring in an incredible way. A Mattel WWE version of this Lita would offer an impactful debut figure.

Lita is perhaps best known for her time as WWE Women’s Champion and as a member of the Hardy Boyz, so her most likely Mattel WWE wrestling figure release would include a stylized look throwing back to her Hardy days. With either a mesh top, Women’s Championship or pants that include bottoms sticking out from underneath, Lita’s style was always apparent during her Hardy Boyz days and a Mattel WWE figure showcasing that would prove to be extremely sought after. If a signature Mattel WWE Lita was to be made, it would more than likely look something like this.

Possibly too risqué for a Mattel WWE wrestling figure given the WWE’s new PG direction, a ‘Rated R’ Lita would be anything but. The Future Possibility Of a Mattel WWE Kurt Angle Figure

Kurt Angle is an absolute wrestling legend that no wrestling fan on the planet disputes in any way. After putting on five star matches in both WWE and TNA, as time moves on and injuries pile up, Kurt Angle is closer to retirement than ever before and wrestling fans will no doubt be sad to see the Olympic gold medalist’s career come to an end. But his involvement in the wrestling business will most likely never end as one of the best big mouths in the history of wrestling will always have a place and presence. Kurt Angle has made it clear he feels he will one day wrestle for the WWE once again and the WWE Universe would welcome him with open arms. Stephanie McMahon, while noticeably absent from WWE television for most of Mattel’s WWE wrestling figure releases, has become more of a fixture since becoming part of ‘The Authority’ that aids Randy Orton in his winnings and suppresses Daniel Bryan. It isn’t impossible that fans can soon have a Mattel WWE Stephanie McMahon to wreak authoritative havoc on their wrestling figure collections or even step foot in the ring to hold down the family business!

With a scale and size extremely similar to Mattel, those who absolutely need a Stephanie McMahon as part of their WWE wrestling figure collection could look to this figure as a temporary placeholder, or a replacement if a Stephanie McMahon Mattel WWE figure is never made.

Rumor has it that CM Punk, unhappy with his Royal Rumble loss and stature in the company, decided to leave the WWE early with a contract expiring in July and his absence from Monday Night RAW has further fueled this speculation. No one, including CM Punk himself, has made an official statement on the matter but rumors of fights with Vince McMahon, tension with Triple H and more have made people immensely curious about what is going on with the wrestling superstar they consider The Best In The World. A happier, smiling CM Punk included red trunks and boots, a microphone, heart t-shirt and ECW Championship from a time when the new Superstar was doing his best to make a name for himself in the WWE. Many die-hard wrestling fans had already taken to CM Punk, but he slowly but surely made his way atop the WWE ladder, and it began while in ECW. The fate of this Mattel WWE Ringside Collectibles Exclusive ECW CM Punk figure is currently unknown, but upon its release, it will be a fitting tribute as the start of a career in the WWE that many have not wanted to see end.

Sin Cara’s Identity Crisis!

Fans remember Sin Cara’s original identity crisis. His usually explosively high flying and fan-friendly personality was suddenly replaced with a mean, angry demeanor that shocked everyone, including his opponent at the time, Daniel Bryan. Having matches with Daniel Bryan led to vicious attacks for the bearded one at the hands of Sin Cara, who he had before considered a friend and ally. Mattel commemorated their feud in Mattel WWE Battle Packs 17 with a Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara 2-pack.

Not only did this Battle Pack feature a folding chair, it included Sin Cara’s first ever Mattel WWE figure and an accurate Daniel Bryan figure to the time of the feud. Things were not all that they seemed, however, as Sin Cara returned to the WWE to confront…Sin Cara. It turned out that Hunico, at the time known as Sin Cara Negro, was imitating the masked warrior and causing trouble as he pretended to be the real Sin Cara. He was soon unmasked and has since adopted the Hunico look and style, as featured in this Mattel WWE Rumblers set with Rey Mysterio.

Hunico is a no-nonsense, street style wrestling performer who may have been put in his place by the real Sin Cara, but has proven he maintains his sneaky demeanor and is ready to attack at any moment.

In the meantime, Sin Cara went from a cold streak, to a hot streak, and back to a cold streak again, all the while gaining a tattoo that fans speculate looks mysteriously like Hunico’s. Hard to prove as no one knows exactly what Sin Cara looks like, but many wonder if Hunico has chosen to take up Sin Cara’s garb again. The question becomes, why has Hunico done this, and what has happened to the real Sin Cara, featured here in Mattel WWE Elite 25 with his latest (and possibly last) Elite figure?

With a watermelon-like, green zebra style print on his outfit, this Sin Cara may be the final incarnation of the ‘good’ Sin Cara the WWE Universe had gotten to know so well. A mystery that WWE refuses to comment on, as they have made no official statement as to the whereabouts, or even possibility of disappearance of any Sin Cara at all. In the meantime, fans have not seen Hunico appear and have only seen a Sin Cara that appears to have a tattoo extremely similar to that of Hunico’s tattoo. A possible coincidence or even a third person wearing the Sin Cara mask would surprise no member of the WWE Universe at this point. For now, Sin Cara figures continue to be released as normal (and without any additional tattoos) like the new 12-inch line in white.

Fans have long awaited Rob Van Dam’s first Mattel WWE treatment and they get it with a steel chair to administer plenty of coast to coasts here. For his first time in the line, and what probably won’t be his last, it’s a great effort.

Fandango’s first Mattel WWE Elite certainly causes fans to say his name correctly. With an amazingly detailed zebra print pair of multi-colored ring pants and a multi-colored ring vest, he’s ready for action in the most animated way possible. It will only be a matter of time before Mattel WWE figure fans are using him to dance his way to their ring set ups.

After an extremely long main line Mattel WWE Elite absence, Undertaker rises from the grave with his most recent and most intense look yet. His entrance robe, complete with spikes and perfect molding, adds a darkness like never before and finally gives fans the modern day Undertaker they’ve been looking for.

Two out of the three Attitude Era staples included in this set, Rikishi is definitely a too cool Elite figure. His ability to dance won’t come into question with the inclusion of his yellow and black sunglasses for a post match groove session, but his detailed entrance sarong brings the figure to an additional level of detail and closer to being just like the real thing.

D-Generation X member Billy Gunn puts the Mr. in Mr. Ass with his Mattel WWE Elite 27 figure. CM Punk’s Bad Luck – The Number One Entrant in the 2014 Royal Rumble!

CM Punk has had a string of misfortune since returning to the WWE after a loss to The Undertaker at last year’s WWE WrestleMania. He has had run ins with The Shield, The Wyatt Family, and even his boss, Triple H, all trying to suppress his free speaking mind and cause him great harm in the WWE. To add insult to months of injury, Kane, now corporate and no longer any fun, has decided CM Punk would be the perfect first entrant in the Royal Rumble 2014. Punk, weary and war torn, will have his work cut out for him if he wishes to main event WrestleMania.

Mattel WWE Battle Packs 25 CM Punk vs. Undertaker!

CM Punk’s hard hearted, grouchy demeanor came to a head at WrestleMania 29 when he faced off with Undertaker. Claiming he could beat the streak, Punk faced off with The Dead Man and attempted to take away his WrestleMania glory. Immortalized in Mattel WWE Battle Packs 25, CM Punk has black boots, knee pads, trunks with white stars, and a dark and angry, clenched teeth mouth, reminiscent of a Ninja Turtle. The Battle Pack also included an Undertaker figure and an urn accessory, based on the urn CM Punk took from Undertaker that represented his late father, Paul Bearer.

These new figures have fun, wild features to make play more heavily based around tossing your figures around. Perfect for CM Punk trying to cheer himself up after a loss to the Undertaker.

With new and improved features, the Mattel WWE Super Strikers feature signature moves related to their Superstars. This CM Punk figure has the perfected ability to administer a Go to Sleep, or GTS! Batista Returns To Enter The 2014 Royal Rumble!

Dave Batista showed up on WWE Monday Night RAW, returning to the WWE and ready to challenge for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The Animal was ring ready, putting his attacking skills to work on Alberto Del Rio, delivering the first Batista-Bomb in a WWE ring in nearly 4 years! He also confronted Randy Orton and told him his sights were set on the Viper directly.

After making his grand return, the WWE Universe went wild and with no surprise, Batista’s current Mattel WWE offerings became even more popular.

First up, a classic style Batista in Mattel WWE Series 37. This figure lacks his current tattoos, making him more accurate to the WrestleMania timeframe he is portraying. With an itty bitty chin hair for intimidation factor and strapped boots, this is the best old school offering for the Animal.

Included in a Mattel WWE Battle Pack celebrating WrestleMania XXX, this Batista figure is a modern day version of The Animal. It has silver and black boots and all of his current, updated tattoos based on the last time he was scanned by Mattel. His beard is a bit different than how he appeared on RAW, but it’s very close to how he looked before returning. The Battle Pack also included The Beast Brock Lesnar, pitting The Animal and The Beast against each other for the first time.

Batista is the easy favorite to win the 2014 Royal Rumble, but he has his work cut out for him as 29 other entrants will no doubt want to main event WrestleMania as well. Good luck, Animal! Walk alone…like you always have.

Mattel WWE Dude Love…The Only Face Of Foley Left!

Mick Foley has maintained three faces (four, if you count his handsome real life face) throughout his wrestling career. Mankind, the wildly bizarre and masked eccentricity, Cactus Jack, the hardcore legend and bandit from the desert, and Dude Love, the peace lovin’, hippy groovin’ dancer. While Dude Love may be considered by many in the WWE Universe to be the least popular of the three, he is certainly the most colorful. Here are a few Mattel WWE possibilities for Dude Love:

Tag Team Champion Mattel WWE Dude Love!

Dude Love replaced an injured Shawn Michaels and became Tag Team Champion with Stone Cold Steve Austin, helping him face off against the villainous Hart Foundation! With a different style of tie dye and headband, this figure could also include a WWE Attitude Era Tag Team Championship, complete with full gold faceplate. It is certainly the first exposure of the WWE Universe at the time to Dude Love’s wildly free personality.

Classic Mattel WWE Dude Love figure!

Dude Love maintained a look that included a tie die shirt, headband and blue ring pants that he is most known for and mostly pictured as in the minds of many WWE wrestling fans. With round, hippy style sunglasses and a need to dance his pants off, Dude Love brought a level of fun and silliness that wasn’t often seen during the Attitude Era and fans took to his personality, loving or hating his actions at the time. The sunglasses and a removable headband would make great accessories to any Mattel WWE figure, but especially to this one. A Mattel WWE Elite style of this version of Mrs. Foley’s Baby Boy would hopefully have enough articulation to dance the night away, including the ability to dance to ‘head, shoulders, knees and toes.’

It is no surprise that a huge proprietor of funk in the WWE would one day return to show the modern day funky folk how it’s actually done. Returning to dance with Tons of Funk on RAW, Dude Love grooved and moved with the modern day WWE Universe, Brodus Clay, Sweet T and the Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) as they joined forces to provide an entirely new level of funk to the WWE Universe. A Mattel WWE nWo Hulk Hogan Possibility!

With Hulk Hogan’s WWE deal return rumored to be imminent, the speculation runs rampant as to what his return will entail and how he will make his present felt both in the WWE and possibly at WrestleMania. While he most likely will be a favorite of the fans upon his return, Hulk Hogan’s wrestling history will be constantly discussed, analyzed and remembered. Among this is his time in the nWo, perfectly geared towards many different Mattel WWE action figures. Here are a few of the different looks that would make great Hulk Hogan wrestling action figures:

Mattel WWE Bash at the Beach 1996 Hulk Hogan!

The nWo Hulk Hogan wrestling figure conversation simply can’t be had without bringing up Hulk Hogan’s original look when forming the nWo. At Bash at the Beach 1996, the WCW was taken by storm and it was the last time for years and years that fans would see the red and yellow version of Hulk Hogan they had grown to love. This may be the only version of the red and yellow that invokes evil feelings for many fans of the Hulkster.

WCW champion and villain too cool for words, Hollywood Hulk Hogan sported the black and white best he could. With the Hollywood bandana, defaced, spraypainted WCW championship and any number of lightning bolted tights, Hulk Hogan’s leadership of the nWo is classic World Championship Wrestling. Though short lived, this look is memorable for many fans of Hogan. With WCW heading downhill shortly after, Hulk Hogan’s WCW days may very well have ended in the fans of many with this look.

Many fans who missed WCW’s original run only enjoy this version of Hulk Hogan, and thus he must be included on the list.

Hulk Hogan is a wrestling icon, quite possibly the most famous and recognizable wrestler in the world to this very day, and his time in the New World Order from it’s formation to it’s disbandment to it’s reformation in the WWE, he is as representative of the Black and White as one can get.
