The Dangerous Elimination Chamber and its Mattel WWE Superstar Participants!

The Elimination Chamber 2014 is fast approaching and the WWE Universe is speculating as to which WWE Superstar is going to leave the event with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The overwhelmingly dangerous structure was first introduced by Eric Bischoff in 2002 and has been a major WWE spectacle ever since. With pods releasing a new Superstar every few minutes, anything can happen with no disqualification and tons upon tons of cold, hard steel trapping the world’s best wrestlers with no way out other than winning.

The participants include John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton (the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion), Christian, Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro (now known simply as ‘Cesaro.’) A combining crop of veteran WWE Superstars and young, hungry competitors make it possible for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 match to be incredible. Each competitor featured is a definite Mattel WWE staple, and any wrestling figure fan with the Mattel WWE Elimination Chamber Playset would be able to re-enact the action of the event.

Elimination Chamber Participants Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan in Mattel WWE Battle Packs 27!

Daniel Bryan has been chasing Randy Orton ever since he cashed in his Money in the Bank Briefcase on the American Dragon at Summerslam 2013. After multiple distractions and opposition from The Authority, Daniel Bryan will finally get his chance to face off with Randy Orton again, like in Mattel WWE Battle Packs 27. However, Randy Orton knows the target is easily on his back, so he will have to be extra aggressive during his Elimination Chamber 2014 appearance. This Mattel WWE Battle Pack includes updated looks for both The Apex Predator and the Dazzler, along with the Money in the Bank Briefcase that has proved to be the catalyst for Daniel Bryan’s struggles.

Elimination Chamber Participant Sheamus in Mattel WWE Series 38!

Sheamus is right back in the picture after suffering an injury and disappearing from WWE television for almost 5 months. He has made it clear he is choosing no sides and looks to enter the 2014 Elimination Chamber with power and leave the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. His participation in the event will not surprise many in the WWE Universe and while he has been vocal about his intentions to regain the top spot in the WWE, he has yet to prove himself since returning. His Mattel WWE Series 38 wrestling figure showcases his new gold and silver wrestling attire.

Elimination Chamber Participant Christian in Mattel WWE Series 39!

Christian has lost most of his matches since qualifying to gain entry into the 2014 Elimination Chamber, so he is working off weak momentum and is now only participating in his second match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his WWE career. However, he has been faced with impossible odds before and after proving he will not take sides with any member of the WWE locker room, Christian has the ability to be the surprise winner. In Mattel WWE Series 39, a confident and happier head sculpt on Christian reflects his current mentality as he gives his all because he may not have many more chances to do so.

Elimination Chamber Participant John Cena in Mattel WWE Series 39!

John Cena can be considered an easy favorite to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber. Having participated in the match numerous times before, he can also benefit from a weakened Randy Orton at the hands of other competitors. John Cena knows how to use all situations to his advantage. He is a Mattel WWE necessity, appearing here in Mattel WWE Series 39 with updated attire. Many of Cena’s fans in the Cenation will fully and completely expect him to win and face of with Batista at WrestleMania XXX, as long as he can survive the Elimination Chamber with no outside interference.

Elimination Chamber Participant Antonio Cesaro in Mattel WWE Series 27!

Antonio Cesaro received his first Mattel WWE figure in WWE Series 27, complete with painted chest hair and painted leg wraps. He will now receive his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at the 2014 Elimination Chamber and will have to fend off five other WWE Superstars to prove victorious. He is not a veteran in the WWE, but proves with his brute strength and incredible move set that he is a force to be reckoned with. He is certainly the dark horse participant in the match up and will be a contender for years to come.

A Mattel WWE Figure for Hall Of Famer Lita?

Lita, the high flying, trend setting WWE Diva and Superstar who changed the landscape of women’s wrestling with the WWE, has recently been announced as a WWE Hall of Fame 2014 inductee. Fans haven’t forgotten Lita and remember her for her time performing with Lucha Libre style during the Attitude Era, controversial relationships with the Hardy Boyz and Edge, and reigns with the WWE Women’s Championship. She has cemented her place in wrestling history as one of the most memorable female performers of all time. It is likely that she could possibly be in line for a Mattel WWE wrestling figure release now with her Hall of Fame induction. Time will tell, but some wrestling figure fans are already speculating on possible outfits.

Mattel WWE Debut Lita Wrestling Figure!

Many wrestling fans are unfamiliar with Lita’s WWE debut as it seemed she was always a member of the Hardyz, but Lita actually debuted with Lucha Libre star Essa Rios in a shiny red wrestling top and pants. Her first chances to show off her luchadore style came during this time, wowing fans with amazing high flying maneuvers and incredible speed. Lita is perhaps best known for her time as WWE Women’s Champion and as a member of the Hardy Boyz, so her most likely Mattel WWE wrestling figure release would include a stylized look throwing back to her Hardy days. With either a mesh top, Women’s Championship or pants that include bottoms sticking out from underneath, Lita’s style was always apparent during her Hardy Boyz days and a Mattel WWE figure showcasing that would prove to be extremely sought after. If a signature Mattel WWE Lita was to be made, it would more than likely look something like this.

Possibly too risqué for a Mattel WWE wrestling figure given the WWE’s new PG direction, a ‘Rated R’ Lita would be anything but. The WWE Universe began to despise Lita and wished her away as Cryme Tyme bid her adieu with a ‘ho sale.’ A scantily dressed, cheaply outfitted Lita would make for a Mattel WWE wrestling figure that could add some crassness to any collection.

Is Batista Getting the Right Reaction From the WWE Universe?

Batista returned to the WWE just in time to participate in the 2014 Royal Rumble. The WWE Universe seemed underwhelmed by his return as he set his sights on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship and looked to send a message to the rest of the WWE locker room by taking out Alberto Del Rio. Some were very excited, but many felt it wasn’t the explosive return they were looking for. Regardless, Batista made it clear he was in the WWE to stay for the time being.

Before leaving the WWE, Batista had a storied career, competing at WrestleMania multiple times and becoming WWE Champion. The Mattel WWE Series 37 version of Batista celebrates WrestleMania heritage and calls back to a simpler time when Batista didn’t sport many tattoos, had just given up being a deacon and followed behind his longer standing companions in Evolution. Here is an appearance from one of his first WrestleManias as ‘The Animal’ complete with trunks stating the like and black strapped boots.

Just in time for WrestleMania XXX, Batista returned to the Mattel WWE line in a Battle Pack with Brock Lesnar as a ‘fantasy match-up.’ With accurate tattoos and a heavy beard, The Animal faces off with The Beast in a match that the WWE Universe anticipates at some point in the career of both staple wrestlers. This is perfect timing as it is in line with the actual return of Batista to the WWE so fans will have The Animal available.

No doubt eventually slated for release, a Mattel WWE version of Batista winning the 2014 Royal Rumble is likely to be a desire of wrestling figure fans who both like and dislike Batista. The question remains, what does the WWE Universe want from The Animal? The Future Possibility Of a Mattel WWE Kurt Angle Figure

Kurt Angle is an absolute wrestling legend that no wrestling fan on the planet disputes in any way. After putting on five star matches in both WWE and TNA, as time moves on and injuries pile up, Kurt Angle is closer to retirement than ever before and wrestling fans will no doubt be sad to see the Olympic gold medalist’s career come to an end. But his involvement in the wrestling business will most likely never end as one of the best big mouths in the history of wrestling will always have a place and presence. Kurt Angle has made it clear he feels he will one day wrestle for the WWE once again and the WWE Universe would welcome him with open arms. Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans would be even more excited at the possibility of versions of Kurt Angle wrestling figures from throughout his career.

Perhaps Kurt Angle’s most popular and well known phase ever came during the WWE ‘Attitude Era’ when he held both the WWE Intercontinental and WWE European championships at once, deeming himself the ‘Eurocontinental Champion.’ Constantly at odds with the WWE Universe, the rest of the locker room and the WWE Champion at the time, Kurt would make it clear that he would stop at nothing to wear all the WWE Championships he could, and they meant as much to him as his Olympic gold medals did. Many fans know Kurt Angle for his wrestling ability but many more know him for his comedic, entertaining wrestling chops. When he lost a Hair vs. Hair match to Edge, Kurt Angle refused to let the WWE Universe in on his new haircut. Because of this, he wore an obvious wig underneath wrestling headgear to the ring each week, assuming the WWE Universe would be none the wiser. His attires at the time were beginning to become more colorful, so a Mattel WWE figure including those attires and a removable wig and wrestling headgear accessory may provide exactly the type of unique feature that Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans are used to.

Stephanie McMahon, while noticeably absent from WWE television for most of Mattel’s WWE wrestling figure releases, has become more of a fixture since becoming part of ‘The Authority’ that aids Randy Orton in his winnings and suppresses Daniel Bryan. It isn’t impossible that fans can soon have a Mattel WWE Stephanie McMahon to wreak authoritative havoc on their wrestling figure collections or even step foot in the ring to hold down the family business!

Originally produced by Jakks Pacific as a Ringside Collectibles Exclusive, the WWE McMahon-Helmsley Era 2-Pack featured a returning Triple H and Stephanie McMahon during her stint as WWE Women’s Champion! Stephanie wore a white shirt bearing her name and initials in the wrestling figure. With a scale and size extremely similar to Mattel, those who absolutely need a Stephanie McMahon as part of their WWE wrestling figure collection could look to this figure as a temporary placeholder, or a replacement if a Stephanie McMahon Mattel WWE figure is never made.

The Wyatt Family…a Thorn in the Side of John Cena!

Since debuting in the WWE, the Wyatt Family have shown their strength, power, and the tightness of their group. A family like no other, they made an initial impact by taking out WWE Superstars like Kane, Kofi Kingston and The Miz. They may have been bested by Daniel Bryan but to keep the statistics in their favor they have gone after arguably the greatest possible challenge the WWE has to offer. That challenge goes by the name of John Cena.

John Cena, here in Mattel WWE Series 39, has spent his time trying to have an effect on the travesty that is Randy Orton gaining the WWE World Heavyweight Championship through cheating, but recently the Wyatt Family have forced him to realign his sights and take them on because of numerous sneak attacks. Cena is unclear as to why Bray Wyatt has chosen him as a target and it has made his main objectives difficult. John Cena can no longer look at Bray Wyatt as simply a nuisance and must treat him with the respect of a face to face challenger.
