The Mattel WWE Elite 35 and Mattel WWE Elite 38 Lineups Revealed!

Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans have been treated to a few surprise line-ups to speculate on for upcoming sets! Coming out of nowhere like an RKO, two future Mattel WWE Elite sets now have confirmed lineups.
Mattel WWE Elite Series 35!
The Mattel WWE Elite 35 set includes:
- Triple H
- Earthquake
- Diego (Los Matadores)
- Fernando (Los Matadores)
- Luke Harper
- Randy Orton
With The Authority back in power, Triple H’s iron grip over the top of the WWE pile continues. An Elite Triple H may include a fully articulated suit version of the Cerebral Assassin, but it’s also possible he hops back into wrestling attire so he’s ring ready.
The classic and legendary Earthquake, a WWE Superstar with an unmatched size and intimidation factor, gets his first Mattel WWE figure treatment here. Much to the delight of Mattel WWE figure collectors, this figure will finally make its massive debut.
Luke Harper has been lurking in the shadows all his own since breaking off from the Wyatt Family. His evil, intense demeanor has only become more corrupt and his latest Mattel WWE Elite figure will likely reflect that. He still chooses rags over the look of riches like his sell out peer Seth Rollins, though.
Fernando and Diego of Los Matadores have stayed causing mischief in the WWE Tag Team scene with their little pal, El Torito. With elaborate entrance gear and an unmatched strangeness, the over the top style of Diego and Fernando with pink ring attire and masks will now have full Elite articulation.
Randy Orton has been sparingly featured on WWE television as of late, and fans don’t seem to know which side he truly stands for. Daniel Bryan will make his triumphant return at the WWE Royal Rumble 2015, but he never left the hearts or minds of fans in the Yes! Movement. Leading the charge against The Authority, a new Mattel WWE Elite Daniel Bryan could possibly have a new, spot on head sculpt and definitely a colorful, American Dragon inspired attire. Time will tell if it will be based on his Royal Rumble return.
Adam Rose makes his Mattel WWE Elite debut with no sign of any Rosebuds, but definitely a thirst for fun and partying. Fans speculate that the figure might come with a vest, a Bunny suit, or even a removable lollipop for the eccentric WWE Superstar.
The internet wrestling community have turned their backs on Roman Reigns, but the rest of the world has embraced him as the next ‘big thing’ in wrestling. With a devastating spear and powerful move set, his aggression connects with young fans and his good looks connect with the ladies. His latest will likely be wrestling attire ready as he breaks away from The Shield all on his own.
With the announcement of the induction of the Macho Man Randy Savage into the WWE Hall of Fame, his latest Mattel WWE Elite will be a WCW representation of the iconic superstar. With so many different styles and colors to choose from, it would be an exciting surprise as to what the Macho Man himself will look like when he was working for the biggest wrestling company in the world.

Evolution Returns to the WWE in 2014
Evolution has officially reunited as an entire unit in the WWE with Ric Flair returning on the April 28th, 2014 WWE Monday Night RAW! Triple H, Randy Orton and Batista decided to reform the legendary group after WrestleMania XXX to deal with what they considered the unruly and wild group, The Shield. It remains to be seen as to whether or not Evolution will successfully stop The Shield in their tracks and if they do, whether or not they will remain a unit or disband. While the WWE Universe tries to unravel the mystery that is Evolution, they can re-create their sudden and surprising dominance through Mattel WWE figures easily with both current and upcoming Mattel WWE action figures!
Mattel WWE Elite 28 Triple H Wrestling Figure!
Triple H has been spearheading the 2014 Evolution reunion with his position as a member of the WWE’s authority. Serving as COO and now more often as an active wrestler, The Game has set aside his need to be the King of Kings and joined forces with Batista and Randy Orton to try and stop Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. Ric Flair made an appearance on WWE Monday Night Raw on April 28th, 2014 to give Evolution his well wishes, only to turn and shake hands with the Hounds of Justice, The Shield! The Dangerous Elimination Chamber and its Mattel WWE Superstar Participants!

The Elimination Chamber 2014 is fast approaching and the WWE Universe is speculating as to which WWE Superstar is going to leave the event with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The overwhelmingly dangerous structure was first introduced by Eric Bischoff in 2002 and has been a major WWE spectacle ever since. With pods releasing a new Superstar every few minutes, anything can happen with no disqualification and tons upon tons of cold, hard steel trapping the world’s best wrestlers with no way out other than winning.
The participants include John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton (the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion), Christian, Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro (now known simply as ‘Cesaro.’) A combining crop of veteran WWE Superstars and young, hungry competitors make it possible for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 match to be incredible. Each competitor featured is a definite Mattel WWE staple, and any wrestling figure fan with the Mattel WWE Elimination Chamber Playset would be able to re-enact the action of the event.

Daniel Bryan has been chasing Randy Orton ever since he cashed in his Money in the Bank Briefcase on the American Dragon at Summerslam 2013. After multiple distractions and opposition from The Authority, Daniel Bryan will finally get his chance to face off with Randy Orton again, like in Mattel WWE Battle Packs 27. However, Randy Orton knows the target is easily on his back, so he will have to be extra aggressive during his Elimination Chamber 2014 appearance. This Mattel WWE Battle Pack includes updated looks for both The Apex Predator and the Dazzler, along with the Money in the Bank Briefcase that has proved to be the catalyst for Daniel Bryan’s struggles.
Elimination Chamber Participant Sheamus in Mattel WWE Series 38!
Sheamus is right back in the picture after suffering an injury and disappearing from WWE television for almost 5 months. He has made it clear he is choosing no sides and looks to enter the 2014 Elimination Chamber with power and leave the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. His participation in the event will not surprise many in the WWE Universe and while he has been vocal about his intentions to regain the top spot in the WWE, he has yet to prove himself since returning. His Mattel WWE Series 38 wrestling figure showcases his new gold and silver wrestling attire.
Elimination Chamber Participant Christian in Mattel WWE Series 39!
Christian has lost most of his matches since qualifying to gain entry into the 2014 Elimination Chamber, so he is working off weak momentum and is now only participating in his second match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in his WWE career. However, he has been faced with impossible odds before and after proving he will not take sides with any member of the WWE locker room, Christian has the ability to be the surprise winner. In Mattel WWE Series 39, a confident and happier head sculpt on Christian reflects his current mentality as he gives his all because he may not have many more chances to do so.
Elimination Chamber Participant John Cena in Mattel WWE Series 39!
John Cena can be considered an easy favorite to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Elimination Chamber. Having participated in the match numerous times before, he can also benefit from a weakened Randy Orton at the hands of other competitors. John Cena knows how to use all situations to his advantage. He is a Mattel WWE necessity, appearing here in Mattel WWE Series 39 with updated attire. Many of Cena’s fans in the Cenation will fully and completely expect him to win and face of with Batista at WrestleMania XXX, as long as he can survive the Elimination Chamber with no outside interference.
Elimination Chamber Participant Antonio Cesaro in Mattel WWE Series 27!
Antonio Cesaro received his first Mattel WWE figure in WWE Series 27, complete with painted chest hair and painted leg wraps. He will now receive his first WWE World Heavyweight Championship opportunity at the 2014 Elimination Chamber and will have to fend off five other WWE Superstars to prove victorious. Daniel Bryan, after a calculated attack that had the entire WWE Universe fooled, has broken free from the control of the Wyatt Family and now stands to take on any and all challenges by himself! Luckily, the American Dragon was only playing possum when he fell victim to Bray Wyatt’s evil tactics. Now, Daniel Bryan is back to the bearded underdog that fans love, and he has more looks to add to his arsenal. Here are a few that would make great Mattel WWE figures.
Mattel WWE Daniel Bryan in Wyatt Family Attire!
Daniel Bryan didn’t only succumb to an attack by the Wyatt Family, he became one of them. Wrestling in a long coverall outfit reminiscent of the other members and even Michael Myers from Halloween, Bryan had many convinced he had joined the cult-like family for good. A Mattel WWE figure representing this would immortalize a dark time for him.

Mattel WWE Series 37 Makes Its Way to Pre-Order!

WrestleMania is rich with wrestling history, heritage and stories. Mattel commemorates WrestleMania with the WrestleMania Heritage series, currently showcased in Mattel WWE Series 37. This set has hot up-and-comers, classic stars and even a colorful manager that have all made impactful appearances at the WWE’s biggest show, WrestleMania. The set includes:

- Roman Reigns
- Mr. Perfect
- Batista
- Zeb Colter
- Ryback
Still in question is what Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig’s figure in this set will look like. Many fans are hoping for the classic yellow and blue look that made an appearance in Mattel WWE Legends 3, but Mr. Perfect has one many other perfect colors, including red, orange and green.
The Animal Batista is making a major return to the WWE ring on January 20th, 2014. Just in time is his Mattel WWE Series 37 figure with a classic WrestleMania style look. Parted hair and less tattoos show a softer, more heroic side of Batista that hasn’t been seen in a long, long time.
Roman Reigns is one of the hottest rising WWE Superstars. With a masterful spear and an intimidating size, he’s headed for super stardom and beloved by fans despite his association with the villainous stable, The Shield. Survivor Series 2013 has come and gone and John Cena came out to show Randy Orton that he, as World Heavyweight Champion, is not afraid of him! After interrupting The Viper’s celebration, John Cena stood face to face with him and held up his World Heavyweight Championship.

That is, not if Randy Orton has anything to say about it! The Apex Predator is the reigning WWE Champion and could be a dangerous foe for the hero, unifying the two titles himself!
Would Randy Orton accept a title unification challenge? Is what we saw happen at Survivor Series 2013 the first step to WrestleMania XXX?! Could ANY other WWE Superstar get involved, or is this just between these two mega stars? Only time will tell!
