The latest Mattel WWE Ringside Collectibles Exclusive, ‘Brahma Bull’ The Rock!

He is the Great One! Now, for the millions and millions of The Rock’s fans, a version will be released representing the time frame of when he stepped out on his own and became one of the biggest superstars in the history of professional wrestling! The latest Mattel WWE Ringside Collectibles Exclusive is The Rock…The Brahma Bull!

Showcasing The Rock’s look from the Attitude Era, the figure is based on The Rock’s Summerslam 1998 Intercontinental Championship defense against Triple H. With trunks taken from around that time frame to best represent The Rock, the figure will embody the style and look that only Rocky could make possible.

The Rock faced off with Triple H in a grueling ladder match for the Intercontinental Championship. The Intercontinental Championship, shown in this promo image with a purple strap, will be included in the Mattel WWE Brahma Bull Rock Exclusive! Wrestling figure fans are now offered this style of the Intercontinental Championship with an Elite figure for only the second time, and the only time with the purple strap.

Daniel Bryan’s WrestleMania Journey Begins with Triple H!

Since losing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship ‘fair and square’ to Randy Orton at Summerslam 2013, Daniel Bryan has been dealing with the constant abuse of power by the COO of the WWE and the man quickly growing to become one of Daniel Bryan’s biggest nemesis’ ever, Triple H. The Game has used his ability to manipulate goings on to make Bryan’s life and pursuit of the title a living hell. The American Dragon has prevailed, however, earning himself the chance to main event WrestleMania 30 if he defeats the one thing standing in his way…The King of Kings. Triple H and Daniel Bryan are both slotted for release in Mattel WWE Elite Series 28, and since fans have yet to see images of these wrestling figures, they can easily speculate on what they could look like.

A Mattel WWE Triple H mail-away exclusive wrestling figure featured the former world champion wearing a grey suit from his more easy-going days as COO of the company. Since, he has opted for darker, harsher suits and cut his long, flowing locks. While Mattel has often stated they do not like to make suited figures, it is nearly impossible to deny that Triple H has appeared almost exclusively dressed up since Summerslam 2013 on WWE television. Anyone looking to re-enact Daniel Bryan’s struggles with the Cerebral Assassin would certainly need an updated, suited Triple H.

With a new headsculpt that further accentuates the bearded modesty of the humble American Dragon, Daniel Bryan’s latest Mattel WWE Elite release could satisfy fans everywhere, especially if he makes it to the WrestleMania 30 main event.

Mattel WWE Display at Toy Fair 2014! Mattel WWE Elites, Battle Packs & WWE Series!

Ringside Collectibles was once again present at Toy Fair 2014 to see all the Mattel WWE wrestling action figures on display! With a healthy showcase of Mattel WWE Elites, WWE Series and WWE Battle Packs, fans got a look with Ringside Collectibles at the latest Mattel WWE figures they had to offer.

Mattel brought out their latest from Mattel WWE Series 36, Mattel WWE Series 38 and Mattel WWE Series 39, showcasing the vast roster of WWE Superstars they have available on a regular basis. Included in Mattel WWE Series 36, Kaitlyn, Fandango, Big E Langston, Christian, CM Punk and Jack Swagger. Also in WWE Series 38 were Vickie Guerrero, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, Sheamus, The Miz and Kofi Kingston sporting new, long tights.

The set that got the WWE wrestling figure universe buzzing came in the form of Mattel WWE Series 39, never before seen and including Christian with a new headsculpt, Rob Van Dam with his first time in WWE Series form, Heath Slater with a new ‘rock band’ style look, Justin Gabriel with his updated look, John Cena and the debut figure of Wyatt Family leader, Bray Wyatt.

Also on display were the Mattel WWE Elites, including Mattel WWE Elite 26 and Mattel WWE Elite 27. Included in Mattel WWE Elite 26 were Roman Reigns, Ultimate Warrior, Mark Henry, Jack Swagger, ‘Road Dogg’ Jesse James and Big E Langston.

Recently seen by WrestlingFigures.com fans but still a perfect set to wow those who haven’t seen them, Mattel WWE Elite 27 included Rob Van Dam with his first Mattel WWE figure ever and first Mattel WWE Elite, ‘Bad Ass’ Billy Gunn rounding out the New Age Outlaws, Rikishi Fatu with amazing accessories and adding to ‘Attitude Era’ Legends having been released, Undertaker with an updated robe, Kofi Kingston with updated long tights and an amazingly bright, colorful and seductive Mattel WWE Elite Fandango, his first time in the Elite Series.

Also on display were Mattel WWE Battle Packs, including Battle Packs Series 26 with The Shield (Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins), Nikki Bella and Brie Bella (The Bella Twins), and Curtis Axel facing off with The Game, Triple H.

Surprising fans everywhere, however, was the as-yet unseen Mattel WWE Battle Packs 27 including Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton, The Big Show fighting Mark Henry and the now fading Tag Team, Tons of Funk (Brodus Clay and ‘Sweet T’ aka Tensai.) Tensai’s purple hat and smiling, happy demeanor has been an exciting treat for Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans as they enjoy an immortalized version of a happy-go-lucky Tensai who is transitioning to a commentary role for the WWE.

Mattel’s WWE display was rounded off with an incredible centerpiece in the Ringside Collectibles Exclusive ECW CM Punk. The ECW CM Punk includes an entirely new head sculpt, an ECW microphone accessory, ECW Championship accessory and X-Ray style CM Punk t-shirt accessory. Fans got their first in person look at the figure on display at Toy Fair 2014.

For the Mattel WWE fans who collected the WWE Legends line, this figure comes as a sigh of relief. Those who have collected Mattel WWE Demolition Ax and Mattel WWE Demolition Smash figures can now add Demolition Crush to their collections! The three team members had an ongoing rivalry with the Legion of Doom and were a fan favorite for many.

Bray Wyatt’s Mattel WWE Elite 28 figure will be his first time in the Elite line and more than likely offer some interesting accessories. A Mattel WWE Stephanie McMahon Figure Finally in the Works?

As most Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans know, the appearance of a WWE Superstar on television is extremely important when asking the question of a possible Mattel WWE wrestling figure release. Stephanie McMahon, while noticeably absent from WWE television for most of Mattel’s WWE wrestling figure releases, has become more of a fixture since becoming part of ‘The Authority’ that aids Randy Orton in his winnings and suppresses Daniel Bryan. It isn’t impossible that fans can soon have a Mattel WWE Stephanie McMahon to wreak authoritative havoc on their wrestling figure collections or even step foot in the ring to hold down the family business!

Originally produced by Jakks Pacific as a Ringside Collectibles Exclusive, the WWE McMahon-Helmsley Era 2-Pack featured a returning Triple H and Stephanie McMahon during her stint as WWE Women’s Champion! Stephanie wore a white shirt bearing her name and initials in the wrestling figure. With a scale and size extremely similar to Mattel, those who absolutely need a Stephanie McMahon as part of their WWE wrestling figure collection could look to this figure as a temporary placeholder, or a replacement if a Stephanie McMahon Mattel WWE figure is never made.

Randy Orton Has A Target On His Back…Will He Survive??

Due the current wrestling landscape, an often overlooked conversation is the survival of the WWE World Heavyweight Champion as he tries to avoid a loss to any oncoming challengers. The idea is overlooked even more with Randy Orton, who fans and members of the locker room alike feel cheated his way to a title reign because of a partnership with Triple H and the rest of the WWE corporate body. While many potential contenders including the Elimination Chamber participants and anyone else looking to get a shot at the gold and their struggles are often discussed by the WWE Universe, the struggle for Randy Orton to fend them off is an even greater one.

Kevin Nash Makes Royal Rumble Return…Could He Return to Mattel WWE Figures?

Kevin Nash has now not once, not twice, but thrice managed to surprise the WWE Universe with his unexpected appearance. Once showing up as Diesel in the Royal Rumble, he shocked the world after an absence for years from WWE wrestling. His return no doubt initiated the release of the Mattel WWE Diesel wrestling figure available in Mattel WWE Elite 16:

The popularity of the Diesel figure was unprecedented for a classic Mattel WWE appearance, including a WWE Championship, removable vest and spot on likeness of Diesel during his WWE peak. With full articulation and molded pants with tassels, wrestling figure fans had finally gotten the chance to grab Kevin Nash in a form they had been previously only been treated to a couple of times. The excitement was short lived, however, as the figure was packaged lightly with the availability of ‘The Outsiders’ Mattel WWE Elite 16 Kevin Nash wrestling figure:

The Mattel WWE Elite 16 Kevin Nash portrayed Big Sexy during his WCW peak, complete with bright red Outsiders outfit, black tassels and a spray painted WCW Championship! The figure also presented a completely separate head scan for Nash with long, blonde trademark locks. Wrestling figure fans made clear their desire for both versions but with their short packed release and difficult availability, only few fans were able to get ahold of the now sought after and difficult to find figure.

The idea still stands that Mattel WWE figure collectors still want more of Kevin Nash and aside from his many classic looks, his modern day appearances may prove more desirable. After showing up more times than most classic superstars during the recent WWE timeline, Kevin Nash’s modern day look is something wrestling figure fans would enjoy in Mattel WWE figure form. His return in 2011, from his canceled match with CM Punk to his Sledgehammer ladder match with Triple H at TLC 2011, would make for an excellent template for a modern day Kevin Nash figure. Most likely his attire would be based on that very slugfest with Triple H, where Nash sported long, black hair.

This Kevin Nash could sport an angry head sculpt, come with a ladder or sledge hammer accessory (or both!) and include Nash’s singlet and leather pants wrestling attire design from the actual event. It would have to represent his entire run after his Summerslam 2011 return, and would do so nicely as most of his other appearances came in plain clothes!

Mattel WWE Elite Royal Rumble 2014 Return Kevin Nash?

Kevin Nash returned at the 2014 Royal Rumble, surprising fans yet again and throwing around some WWE Superstars before suffering elimination. Noticeably more determined and agile, Nash was sporting a new short brown haircut with only one elbow pad, giving new possibilities and asking new questions as to whether or not he would return to the WWE to once again try to ‘stick the winner.’ Big Daddy Cool Kevin Nash remains a sought after Mattel WWE action figure, between those that have already been produced and those that may show up in the future.

OHHH YOU DIDN’T KNOW? Tag Team Champions The New Age Outlaws, Reuniting in Mattel WWE Form!

Just in time for Valentine’s Day as people across the world think of the greatest pairings ever, many WWE Universe members are struck by the partnership of the New Age Outlaws, Road Dogg Jesse James and ‘Bad Ass’ Billy Gunn. After re-capturing the WWE Tag Team Championships following a 15 year absence, the duo, who may or may not be at the beck and call of COO Triple H, are taking the locker room by storm. Aside from a brief appearance on RAW’s 20th Anniversary and a quick entry into the 2013 Royal Rumble by Road Dogg, the New Age Outlaws have been mostly inactive in the ring since disbanding so many years ago. However, they are proving consistently that they still have what it takes to roll with the young superstars they are defending their championships again. Now, they finally have Mattel WWE figures for fans to re-enact their favorite modern day New Age Outlaws moments.

The Road Dogg Jesse James blows the roof off of any arena he enters, beckoning the WWE Universe to the ‘Dogg House’ and rhyming his way through a self-introduction to one of the greatest Tag Teams in the history of wrestling. His Mattel WWE figure includes a hat, a D-Generate Road Dogg t-shirt and a classic style D-Generation X t-shirt. With a spot on likeness, pants that bear the D-Generation X style logos that only Road Dogg can pull off, this figure comes ring ready for both classic collections and modern day collections.

Also entering the Mattel WWE world is the ‘Bad Ass’ Billy Gunn, also affectionately known as ‘Mr. Ass.’ WWE’s resident ass man gets his first figure treatment in over 7 years, throwing back to his original style during the ‘Attitude Era’ but presenting a modern sentiment with interchangable headbands and two separate D-Generation X t-shirts. His trunks bear plenty of lips symbols and his knee pads are marked with ‘BA,’ which can only stand for ‘Bad Ass!’ The green color and white boots are a style choice Billy Gunn has made famous, making mothers everywhere turn their heads as he pulled his shorts down just enough to be inappropriate when entering the ring. His figure will not have this feature, but he is still just as much of a degenerate.

The New Age Outlaws have finally been immortalized in Mattel WWE plastic, but at what cost? The once happy-go-lucky rebels still maintain their wild personalities but carry out the biddings of the controlling, condescending and downright oppressive COO, their fellow D-Generation X member, Triple H. Could their WWE Tag Team Championship opportunity (they did win fair and square, at least) have come from strings being pulled by their friend in the highest possible place? No one knows except the members of D-Generation X themselves, but seeing how quickly the New Age Outlaws can jump to the defense of their old friend smells a little fishy.

Is CM Punk Gone From WWE? What Does This Mean For His Mattel WWE Figures?

The week after Royal Rumble 2014, speculation has run rampant on Twitter, Facebook and amongst the WWE Universe and beyond as to whether or not CM Punk is still with the WWE. Rumor has it that CM Punk, unhappy with his Royal Rumble loss and stature in the company, decided to leave the WWE early with a contract expiring in July and his absence from Monday Night RAW has further fueled this speculation. No one, including CM Punk himself, has made an official statement on the matter but rumors of fights with Vince McMahon, tension with Triple H and more have made people immensely curious about what is going on with the wrestling superstar they consider The Best In The World. Wrestling figure fans have already begun to speculate as to what this means for Mattel WWE CM Punk action figures and their future releases. Could Mattel WWE CM Punk figures be a thing of the past? Complete with a removable mask and an extremely detailed bald headsculpt, this CM Punk was hugely sought after by Mattel WWE figure fans, sold quickly and remains a hot item to this day. Celebrating Punk’s time in the Straight Edge Society, it captured the essence of his purely evil turn and cult-like feuds with Rey Mysterio and Big Show.

Mattel WWE Elite 1 CM Punk!

The Mattel WWE Elite 1 CM Punk, his first released Mattel WWE Elite during the launch of the Mattel WWE line, featured CM Punk’s post-Money In the Bank win look, confidence and edge. The grey and yellow outfit featured in this figure, unlike so many other CM Punk outfits, has yet to be replicated and remains unique and unchanged. Also included, now a thing of the past in the Mattel WWE figure line, was a cotton-style cloth t-shirt.

After a forceful takeover of The Nexus from Wade Barrett, CM Punk put his leadership skills to good use and ran the group into the ground while using it as a springboard for his own success. Fans are often reminded of CM Punk’s time in the Royal Rumble surrounded by Nexus members and his infamous “Pipe Bomb” speech that took place during his time as Nexus leader. The Mattel WWE Elite 11 figure captured both his time in the group and his transition to mega superstar, complete with Nexus armband and Nesus t-shirt, both removable so wrestling figure fans could easily have their CM Punk abandon the group if he needed to.

The Mattel WWE Elite 20 CM Punk was monumental for Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans as it included a new, slick-haired headsculpt and accurate, colorful tattoos that were finally realized as intended. What could possibly be CM Punk’s last great feud in the WWE, he faced off with Undertaker at WrestleMania 29, angrily trying to end what he considered to be a self indulgent and silly WrestleMania streak carried by the Undertaker. Going so far as to make jokes with the urn of the Undertaker’s late father Paul Bearer, CM Punk reached into the mind of Undertaker to pull out a loss. He didn’t find it, but his memorable elbow drop on to Undertaker and his ongoing grouchy demeanor made the face off extremely memorable.

The latest planned Mattel WWE ECW CM Punk Ringside Collectibles Exclusive figure was revealed by Mattel and Ringside Collectibles at Ringside Fest 2013. A happier, smiling CM Punk included red trunks and boots, a microphone, heart t-shirt and ECW Championship from a time when the new Superstar was doing his best to make a name for himself in the WWE. Many die-hard wrestling fans had already taken to CM Punk, but he slowly but surely made his way atop the WWE ladder, and it began while in ECW. The fate of this Mattel WWE Ringside Collectibles Exclusive ECW CM Punk figure is currently unknown, but upon its release, it will be a fitting tribute as the start of a career in the WWE that many have not wanted to see end.
