Make way for the hometown heroes coming back where they belong, the Mattel WWE Series 40 wrestling action figures have been announced! With flavor based on a famous Superstar’s love for where they come from, the lineup features a vast array of talent. Mattel WWE Series 40 includes:
CM Punk (Chicago)
Alberto Del Rio (Mexico)
Rey Mysterio (San Diego)
Great Khali (India)
Zack Ryder (Long Island)
Edge (Toronto)
CM Punk is missing and no one knows if, or when, he will ever return to the WWE so his release in a Mattel WWE set is surprising. It may be one of his last Mattel WWE action figures ever, so it’s great to keep an eye out as to what attire it could feature, especially in tribute to his hometown (and the place he probably is right now) Chicago.
Alberto Del Rio is an aristocrat from Mexico who is rich and powerful and the people from his home country know it. His figure will no doubt feature a smile with how happy he is to carry that type of wealth, or a spoiled, angry demeanor fit for a rich jerk.
Rey Mysterio has long claimed San Diego as his home, dialing up the 619 as a move and featuring it on all of his ring attire. He will be masked, for sure, but it is a curiosity as to which of his many colorful looks represents San Diego best.
One of the most recognizable faces in all of India, The Great Khali is the Punjabi Playboy both at home and abroad. With WWE, he has worn black ring pants and maroon ring pants, the latter of which he has worn for years and will most likely be featured in here.
Zack Ryder loves Long Island and Long Island loves Zack Ryder, as is proof any time he comes into town with the WWE. Getting more praise at times than The Rock while in New York, Zack Ryder holds up the LI on the way to the ring regularly and proves he is a hometown hero.
A career cut too short, but luckily with the health of the Rated R Superstar still in tact, no city loves a Superstar like Toronto loves Edge. Even with John Cena at his heels, Edge is always massively cheered by the Toronto fans and always was during his storied career. If only it could have lasted just a little longer!

The Mattel WWE Battle Packs 29 lineup has been revealed, much to the excitement of wrestling action figure fans. Including new releases and a possible now-missing old favorite, this set is going to be hotly anticipated. It includes:
Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) with 2 hat accessories
Ryback & CM Punk with table accessory
Cody Rhodes & Goldust with two Tag Team Championship accessories
Since making their way onto the tag team scene of WWE, Los Matadores have become fan favorites as they are accompanied by El Torito and wear flamboyant, colorful outfits. With wrestling skill to back up their antics, wrestling figure fans will likely pit them against their other established tag teams.
Although CM Punk has disappeared from the WWE radar, the now disgruntled Ryback still attempts to make as much of an impact as possible. With a table accessory, this Battle Pack could be a wrestling figure fan’s way to send CM Punk out the door correctly, with a massive loss to the machine, Ryback. Or, the Battle Pack could set the stage for CM Punk’s triumphant return.
Cody Rhodes and Goldust are living out their dream of being siblings working together and taking the WWE by storm. This Battle Pack will likely commemorate their hugely successful WWE Tag Team Championship run, capturing the titles from The Shield and defending them against worthy suitors. An updated Mattel WWE Goldust figure has been sought after by fans so they likely won’t be disappointed!

The Undertaker has finally arrived upon the landscape of the WWE Universe, just in time to remind Superstars and fans alike that he has a WrestleMania streak to maintain. With plans to continue his streak into WrestleMania XXX, the lights went down and the fans shook at WWE Monday Night RAW. The Undertaker stood in the WWE ring face to face with Brock Lesnar, the self-proclaimed ‘Baddest Man on the Planet,’ and only had to make a singular gesture to make his goals known. With the turn of his head towards the WrestleMania XXX sign, both the Undertaker and Brock Lesnar knew that they were destined to face off on the grandest stage of them all. For Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans, the possibilities in play are extremely fruitful with many excellent choices to choose from when booking their own Brock Lesnar vs. Undertaker match.
Mattel WWE Elite 27 Undertaker!
The Mattel WWE Elite 27 Undertaker is intimidating wrestling figure fans like never before with his Entrance Robe complete with current, modern look including spikes and hood. It also includes a head sculpt with Undertaker’s shaved, semi-mohawk haircut and icy blue eyes. With complete Elite articulation and the most up to date version of Undertaker a wrestling fan can find, anyone looking to continue Undertaker’s streak early would be hard pressed to find a better action figure of the Dead Man.
Mattel WWE Ringside Collectibles ‘Here Comes the Pain’ Brock Lesnar Exclusive!
An excellent choice for any wrestling figure fan looking for a more classic approach to defeating the Undertaker’s streak can find it with the Mattel WWE ‘Here Comes the Pain’ Brock Lesnar Exclusive. With Undisputed Championship, t-shirt and tattoos accurate to Brock’s peak time period, the current Undertaker may have even more trouble with a younger, more dangerous version of Brock Lesnar. A fantasy match-up of “old school’ Brock Lesnar and “legendary” Undertaker could prove to be the WrestleMania main event fans have been waiting for.
Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Series Brock Lesnar!
Speaking of Brock Lesnar, his intensity and drive to eliminate the Undertaker’s undefeated WrestleMania streak couldn’t be more apparent in his Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Series figure. With updated, accurate tattoos, MMA-style wrestling gear and a head scan roaring with power, Brock Lesnar at the very least, truly looks like the baddest man on the planet. Just in time for WrestleMania XXX, this basic style figure carries standard articulation and comes packaged in WrestleMania XXX style carding.
Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Series Undertaker!
The Undertaker is not far behind Brock Lesnar in the Mattel WWE WrestleMania XXX Series set, complete with an updated look, accurate tattoos and a perfectly painted head sculpt. Looking to keep the streak alive, this figure trades in the gear and wild spikes for old fashioned brute Undertaker-style strength. Also packaged with WrestleMania XXX carding and ready to deliver a Tombstone Piledriver Brock Lesnar’s way, this is the most up to date, basic version of Undertaker a wrestling figure fan can get, especially with the WrestleMania XXX symbols.
Brock Lesnar is no easy foe to tackle, but Undertaker has kept his WrestleMania streak alive for so long it would be an unwise decision to bet against the power and raw mysticism of the Phenom.

Rob Van Dam made his triumphant return to the WWE at Money in the Bank 2013, only to be ousted by Alberto Del Rio after a failed attempt at capturing the World Heavyweight Championship. The ‘One of a Kind’ Extreme superstar has been in the minds of fans ever since his re-debut as they anxiously await his return to the WWE ring to see where he will decide to place his talents. It’s possible that he could attempt to capture the United States Championship again from Dean Ambrose, settle his unfinished business with Alberto Del Rio or head straight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Either way, the WWE Universe and wrestling figure fans will get to return Rob Van Dam to their wrestling rings much earlier. After years of anticipation, Rob Van Dam’s first Mattel WWE figure has been released and another is on the way.
Mattel WWE Elite 27 Rob Van Dam – his first time in the line!
The Mattel WWE Elite 27 Rob Van Dam has seen the light of day and is in the hands of fans worldwide. With a ‘First Time in the Line’ branding, a steel chair accessory and an incredibly detailed deco, this Rob Van Dam fills the long awaited void. Van Dam’s singlet sports a dragon design in the front and a highly detailed ‘RVD,’ with a yin-yang design on the back an plenty of colors. Fans were worried that the details may not come to fruition but Mattel has put their minds at ease.
Mattel WWE Elite 27 Rob Van Dam with steel chair accessory!
With Elite articulation, fans can re-enact the VanDaminator, the VanTerminator, the Five Star Frog Splash and the Rolling Thunder at their leisure. Tall boots that accurately reflect the real thing and a scruffy look are just added details that fans couldn’t appreciate more. Despite his absence, fans will luckily have not just the now in stock Mattel WWE Elite 27 Rob Van Dam, but the Mattel WWE Series 39 Rob Van Dam on the way.
Mattel WWE Series 39 Rob Van Dam!
The Mattel WWE Series 39 Rob Van Dam is a basic series figure and RVD’s first time amongst the expansive line. With a flaming blue skull singlet design, Mattel decided to portray a style not often seen on Rob Van Dam and seen even less on any previous Rob Van Dam action figures. Wrestling figure fans are treated to a modern look for the Whole F’n Show and can more than likely expect more wrestling figures to come.
In the meantime, when will Rob Van Dam return to the WWE ring? He has stated numerous times that he hopes to be back in the ring ‘soon’ but there is not an appearance or even a chant in his name in sight. Only time will tell and when it does happen, the WWE Universe will have their new Mattel WWE Rob Van Dam action figures in hand.

The Elimination Chamber 2014 is fast approaching and the WWE Universe is speculating as to which WWE Superstar is going to leave the event with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The overwhelmingly dangerous structure was first introduced by Eric Bischoff in 2002 and has been a major WWE spectacle ever since. With pods releasing a new Superstar every few minutes, anything can happen with no disqualification and tons upon tons of cold, hard steel trapping the world’s best wrestlers with no way out other than winning.
The participants include John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Randy Orton (the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion), Christian, Sheamus and Antonio Cesaro (now known simply as ‘Cesaro.’) A combining crop of veteran WWE Superstars and young, hungry competitors make it possible for the WWE Elimination Chamber 2014 match to be incredible. Each competitor featured is a definite Mattel WWE staple, and any wrestling figure fan with the Mattel WWE Elimination Chamber Playset would be able to re-enact the action of the event.

His Mattel WWE Series 38 wrestling figure showcases his new gold and silver wrestling attire.

In Mattel WWE Series 39, a confident and happier head sculpt on Christian reflects his current mentality as he gives his all because he may not have many more chances to do so.

Mattel WWE Elite 28 Big Show!
The Mattel WWE Elite 28 Big Show could prove to be a dud with a similar release to his previous Elites, but the chance at a Big Show from a different classic phase or including a crying feature is too good not to consider. His huge hands, also known as WMD’s, will most likely be included.
Mattel WWE Elite 28 Triple H!
The current WWE COO and member of The Authority has not regularly been seen in wrestling attire since helping Randy Orton win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, but his short hair and a possible suit could definitely be included in this Mattel WWE Elite 28 release.

An updated Daniel Bryan with ever-changing beard is a huge desire of Mattel WWE wrestling figure fans, as the Yes-master becomes more and more popular. An updated Daniel Bryan Elite will most certainly come with a t-shirt of some kind but more importantly, a new look that reflects his changing style.
