Rumors have been running rampant that the beastly Brock Lesnar has been secretly planning a return to the octagon with UFC. He has openly and publicly claimed he is retired from his MMA career and vowed never to return, but rumors of some sort of superfight including Brock are the talk of the mixed martial arts town. This may seem difficult when considering his WWE career, but fans continue to speculate. Since debuting in the WWE, Brock Lesnar has been considered one of the most feared men on the planet, and his sheer wrestling ability is a major part of that. Since returning to the WWE, Brock Lesnar has sported an MMA-style attire, including his sponsors and logos on his shorts. Although these cannot be captured in a Mattel WWE figure due to cross-licensing issues, the shorts and the fighting spirit remain, like in Brock’s Mattel WWE Elite 19 figure. This is the current, modern day version of The Next Big Thing:

Any WWE wrestling fan watching from the years of 1998-2002 remember the Attitude Era. Big Show captured The Hardcore Championship three times during his original WWE tenure, making a massive impact after coming over from WCW. The Giant figure may not be the exact era, but it is very close and with an nWo shirt, it would add extra spice to those wanting to recreate a WCW invasion! If you want a more accurate style, though, you could shoot for Big Show’s Mattel WWE Pay Per View 11 figure.

The Mattel WWE Elite 27 Rob Van Dam figure will provide the ECW legend’s hardcore presence for any Hardcore Championship match. He unified the title with the Intercontinental Championship, so it may have ended with RVD, but it can go on forever with your Mattel WWE figures.

Tons Of Funk: Headed For Heartbreak?

After returning to the WWE with an angry thought process, Tensai cooled down when he joined the party-all-night mentality of Brodus Clay and his Funkadactyls. This friendship created the team Tons of Funk, two big fellas partying their way all the way to the ring:

Recently, Brodus Clay has been losing his party all the time attitude. After teaching Tensai so much about having a good time, Brodus has lost sight of what it means to enjoy yourself and has begun acting out and moving down a belligerent pathway. Tensai has tried to maintain a cool demeanor but it’s clear he’s getting more and more upset with Brodus Clay’s uncool actions as time goes on. In any case, they both are represented well in Mattel WWE action figures, like Tensai’s Mattel WWE Elite 23 figure, including entrance gear:

When you think of WrestleMania, many illustrious names come to mind. To celebrate WrestleMania XXX, Mattel has chosen four of those names to release in a special Mattel WWE Series set that are synonymous in the thoughts of many with WrestleMania. The set will include:

The inclusion of John Cena is no surprise as his WrestleMania success has overshadowed that of many of his peers. Having won World Championships at the big event multiple times, John Cena is a WrestleMania staple and looks to continue similar success at WrestleMania XXX.

The Shield Delivers Justice in Mattel WWE Elite Form!

Finally, every member of the popular WWE stable The Shield is available in Mattel WWE Elite form. Wrestling action figure fans were able to snag Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins in Elite Series 25 but had to wait to complete the trio with Roman Reigns in Elite Series 26. Now that all three are in stock, one of the hottest teams of the past decade is complete with total articulation.

From the Elite style articulation it looks as if Jim Ross will be a build-a-figure for an upcoming set, though Mattel could neither confirm nor deny this at Ringside Fest X.

Legendary Manager Paul Bearer a Mattel WWE Figure!

Despite tragically passing away in 2013, Paul Bearer’s legacy and mark made on the wrestling business were felt throughout the entire lead up to this year’s WrestleMania as CM Punk taunted the Undertaker over the death of his father.

Although a controversial angle, it became clear that there were no other characters quite like Paul Bearer and will never be again. In accordance with the fact that there can only be one, Mattel debuted Paul Bearer’s first Mattel WWE figure at Ringside Fest X:

As he looks to be following in traditional Build-A-Figure fashion, we won’t know for sure until we get our hands on this figure exactly how he will be released but in the meantime attention can be paid to his spot on likeness. You can almost hear his distinct voice and see his distinct head wobble.

Eventually, the figure will make a perfect accompanying piece with the Mattel WWE Elite 23 Undertaker figure, a flashback to his New Generation Era attire and not quite complete without his manager:

For the modern day fan, a better fit would be the Undertaker vs. CM Punk in Mattel WWE Battle Packs 25, commemorating the personal brawl between the two Superstars over the memory of Paul Bearer himself:
