WWF FIGURE
INSIDER NEWS: I apologize for this week's column being updated late, but I've got some big, exclusive late-breaking news to report. I'm feeling "under the weather," but please bare with me and let's get to it. Jakks will be making another line of 12" figures soon. These will have one major difference from the standard Federation Fighters 12" figures though. The Back Talkin' Crushers talk when you bend their arms or legs. Each Superstar has over 30 different phrases prgrammed into them. This incredible 12" set includes The Rock, Steve Austin, The Big Show, and The Undertaker. Ringside Collectibles will be accepting pre-orders for the new Back Talkin' Crushers by the end of the month. I will let you know right here as soon as that happens. The Titan Tron Live figures scheduled to be released by Wrestlemania look to be amazing figures. These incredibly-detailed figures include some of the figures you requested most. I'm not at liberty to name all the names at the moment, but I'll say Chris Jericho and Stephanie McMahon were not left out of Jakks plans. This is further proof that Jakks is listening to your requests, so keep them coming. Also due out by Wrestlemania 2000 is The Rock's 12" Interactive Figure. You will be able to download all of your favorite Rock catch-phrases right into the People's action figure. Hopefully we'll see a 12" Interactive Figure of Mankind sometime in the future to complete the Rock & Sock Connection. Right now the Steve Austin Interactive Figure looks to be the hot item for the upcoming holiday season. Order one today before it becomes the Furby of 1999. As you can probably tell, Jakks is in full-swing with a ton of innovative new products scheduled for the months ahead. All of the afforementioned figures should be amazing. Ringside Collectibles will bring you photographs of all new products as soon as they are available.
The
Edge
& Christian signed 2-Pack is almost sold out at the new
low price. You are going to want to own this excellent
signed collector's piece featuring two of the fastest rising stars
in the WWF. I am predicting that Edge & Christian will win the
Terri Invitational Tournament. If they lose, I will personally give away
as a trivia contest prize the 2-Pack that I pre-ordered for my personal
collection which is guaranteed to be #001 of 500. However, if I am
right, if Edge and Christian do in fact win the Terri Invitational Tournament
(sorry, I can't use the initials), everyone reading still win's because the
week that they win the tournament, the trivia prize will be a signed Edge
& Christian 2-Pack personalized to the winner's name by Edge & Christian.
Final Results of last week's Poll:
FIGURE INSIDER POLL:
His figure is huge, it's extremely popular, and it's been re-released multiple times the past few months. The Big Show first appeared in Superstars Series 9 and has been re-released in a Grudge Match with Mankind, Signature Series 4, the Perfect 10 pack, etc. This hulking figure is most definitely the hottest figure to some out of Jakks' SummerSlam assortments. BRING IT TO ME JAKKS!: Is there a certain figure that you would like to see produced or an accessory you would like to see made? Jakks has told us that they would love to hear your ideas and suggestions for future products! If you always wanted that Howard Finkel figure to complete your collection or if you think Jakks should come out with Al Snow's frozen dinner with real Pepper meat, all that you have to do is e-mail Jakks with your suggestion. They just might use it! All product suggestions sent to: [email protected] will be forwarded directly to Jakks Pacific.
