WWF FIGURE
INSIDER NEWS: ToyFare magazine is at it again. In the December issue, they offer an exclusive figure of The Rock. Their third WWF exclusive features The Great One decked out in his striped athletic pants and a fabric jersey. The figure is merely a Series 8 Rock with a shirt, but at a limited run of 10,000 this window-boxed figure is definitely going to be in demand. Also included in this wrestling packed issue of Toy Fair is a column written by the Rattlesnake himself. Definitely pick up a copy of the December issue. With the release of the Titan Tron and Titan Tron Live Figures, Jakks has released their first Titan Tron Live boxed sets. Toys R Us is selling a 4-pack containing the Undertaker, Kane, the Rock, and Stone Cold Steve Austin. Undertaker and Kane are no different than their previous Titan Tron Live: Series 1 figures, but the Rock and Austin feature new paint decos. The Rock is repainted in his wrestling trunks, and Austin features a new head and the same shirt used for his Federation Fighters and Signature Series 4 figures. In other news the WWF went public this week under the symbol WWFE. You now have the opportunity to invest in the WWF. BTW, Jakks has been public for awhile now under the symbol: JAKK. Ringside Collectibles is offering you the chance to get WWF The Music: Volume 4 ABSOLUTELY FREE! CLICK HERE for information on how to get the CD for FREE! The track listing for this must-have CD is as follows:
I would just like to let everyone know that I have nothing to do with the sales and shipment of figures at Ringside Collectibles. I'm merely the reporter sharing news and informing the you, the fans. To steal a line from Cyrus, I'm simply here to provide "intellectual intercourse". If you want to talk about anything I write in this column, feel free to e-mail me at: [email protected]. I urge you to purchase Mic Foley's new autobiography titled Have a Nice Day! A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks. I just received my copy in the mail and it is definitely a MUST READ for any WWF fan. Final Results of last week's Poll:
Based on last week's poll,
it's pretty apparent that a Y2J is most definitely a desired figure. In a
tight race, Chris Jericho and Howard Finkel won the most votes for who you'd
most like to see a 2-pack made of by taking about one-third of the votes.
Surprisingly, the Dudley Boyz came in a very strong second only a few
percent behind Y2J and The Fink. I was surprised to see the Rock and Sock
Connection, as well as Triple H and Chyna came in last.
FIGURE INSIDER POLL:
When Jakks released it's Off the Mat 4-pack to Toys R Us last winter, a breath of fresh air was pumped into WWF figure collections everywhere. After months and months of re-releasing and repainting the same two Austin figures countless times, Jakks released a brand new Austin in all his trademark attire. This figure was all-new, and the Rattlesnake was wearing his signature vest and denim shorts. On top of that, he had a WWF World Title belt and his tatoo on his leg. Also included in this set were the IC and tag titles. BRING IT TO ME JAKKS!: Is there a certain figure that you would like to see produced or an accessory you would like to see made? Jakks has told us that they would love to hear your ideas and suggestions for future products! If you always wanted that Howard Finkel figure to complete your collection or if you think Jakks should come out with Al Snow's frozen dinner with real Pepper meat, all that you have to do is e-mail Jakks with your suggestion. They just might use it! All product suggestions sent to: [email protected] will be forwarded directly to Jakks Pacific.
