Gear is always one of Jakks's top sellers, and, of course, there's more
on the way. With Grapple Gear Series 3, Jakks has upgraded
the assortment size from three playsets to four amazing playsets. First
up is BACKSTAGE BRAWL!, which includes the cool-looking camera man
in the picture. I suppose the backwards hat and sunglasses are a part
of the WWF Attitude. Also included are a camera & battery pack, light
stand, ring bell & hammer, and a trunk to store the equipment in. This
is definitely going to be a hot-seller. Next up is STREET FIGHT RULZ!,
which contains a "Dead End" sign, sewer cover, and a nasty-looking mattress.
BOILER ROOM BRAWL! consists of a ladder, pipe, and a rolling
shopping cart. All three should make for some interesting hardcore matches.
The fourth and final set in Grapple Gear 4, RAW IS WAR LIVE!, contains
some interesting accessories indeed. Included are a folding chair, barell
with lid, and even a mechanics' creeper. These Grapple Gear sets just
keep getting more and more interesting. On a side note, how amazing do these
Titan Tron-Live figures look? These sculpts are amazing! I urge you
to check out the photographs of all the new Grapple Gear 3 Accessory sets

page. Surprisingly, the top response in last week's poll was that most of you have never bought any figures online and don't plan on doing so. Coming in a strong second, a lot of readers say they purchase figures online because of selection. Then, of course, came convenience. I'm surprised by the #1 response, but the rest of the results are not surprising. Final Results of last week's Poll: What is the number one reason that you purchase WWF Figures over the web?

POLL:
CLASSIC JAKKS FIGURE OF THE WEEK:
The Executioner is one of the rarest figures ever made by Jakks. He was released only once as a Target exclusive in their Buried Alive 4-pack. This distinction puts him in select company alongside the likes of the Blue Blazer and Skull. When the 4-pack hit Target stores in November of 1997, most people bought them just for the Executioner. The same goes two years later, as the 4-pack commonly sells for $50 to $60 mint in box just for this one figure. If you can find someone selling him loose, expect to pay around $15 to $20. That's pretty good for a guy and his ax.

you ever wanted a life-size Headbanger skirt that you can actually wear,

just might use it!

FIGURE TRIVIA QUESTION OF THE
WEEK: This
week's prize is the crown jewel of the Jakks collection, the Razor
Ramon vs. Diesel 2-pack. That's right; since Mic Foley won
the WWF Championship at Summerslam, we are giving one away
this week only. The question is: What store was the Razor
Ramon & Diesel 2-pack first exclusive to? Here's a hint: It only has
one location and it's not Ringside Collectibles.
What was different about the Sable figure that was a
mail-away exclusive in White's Guide to Collecting Figures? The difference
was that it was repainted in a silver outfit. Last week's winner is
