Don't let Papa Shango cast a spell on you. In 1992, Ultimate Warrior, who had just returned to the WWE after leaving for some time, was immediately caught up in spiritual warfare between himself and Papa Shango, a voodoo master. Under Papa Shango's spell, Ultimate Warrior would start to convulse and vomit in very strange colors.

The WWE Universe was less than thrilled with Papa Shango who carried a skull when entering the smoke-filled ring. Even with his mystical power that allowed him to control the arena lights and make strange things occur in the ring, one thing that Papa Shango could not control was the reactions he received from the other entertainers and the WWE Universe as a whole. Soon, Papa Shango went "poof" and disappeared.
